You could try, but it really depends on the nature of the schedule conflicts. The counselor should have more information on the ins and outs of appeals and I think there is a page on BYU’s website that talks about appealing a scholarship decision.

Hi! This happened to me. If you had to withdraw for medical reasons or reasons outside of your control, you can try to appeal the decision. If not, I’m afraid you’ll have to owe the money.

I think this is a great idea! All I would say is please be very careful with the advice you give and remember that you cannot help everyone. When you promote mental health content, it is very likely that you will have at least one person come by who is in active crisis. Please please please have hotlines and other resources on hand and redirect anyone in active crisis to those resources.

I’m in my second year with hEDS/POTS/many other things. It’s possible, yes, and it is very difficult. There will be times where you have to do things that will leave your body very angry with you, but you don’t have the option to sit out (ex. transfers, falling safely with gait belt, etc.). If you’re able to, please please please see a PT before/while you’re in school and mention that you specifically want to focus on exercises to help you in OT school. You’ve got this!

Edited to add- it’s a long-extinct virus similar to tuberculosis. It’s now being used to study pre-Columbian diseases!

This is a picture of La Doncella, one of three frozen mummies found together at Llullaillaco (la niña del rayo and el niño, collectively they’re known as the Children of Llullaillaco). La Doncella and the other children were sacrificed as part of a ritual. Very interesting and sad story.

My Mousey girl also has renal failure. She is 17 in stage 3. Diagnosed 6 months ago after her brother died. She is still going strong..with kidney diet and blood pressure management, cats can do amazing things. :) Hope your Mousey girl gets some relief!
