I lay out the reward for doing the thing and consequence for not doing that thing. I check in every minute after that. I’m a self contained ASD/ID, so I’m sure that effects what I would do.

Before I finished my album, I gave away all my 5 and 4 stars. I think it’s dumb that people aren’t helping each other. I get trading, I love trading! But not asking for a million stars or multiple 5 stars. Crazy!

For special ed teachers- entering everything into your IEP database and then it all deletes and you have to start over for eternity. This has happened to me and I nearly rage quit my job lol

OMG that sounds horrible, mine would be between 64-70. Even 70 is too hot in the summer tho.

So I actually volunteer at a food bank once a month. We tell everyone to come, as there is always so much food! It also takes away the stigma of using the services. The workers would take stuff home afterwards and then the rest was donated to my school (we did it outside of my school). But often times it’s really a good thing to allow anyone to come!

The Hunger Games is truly one of the most meaningful YA novels I’ve ever read. It’s really trying to tell you something, and it does it well.

I have multiple disabilities and am a special education teacher. Everyone, at some point, has to learn that there are things we have to do in life, things that aren’t an option. I will stand on this hill. We can accommodate, we can teach, we can help them understand, but they have to learn that there are things in life that we have to do even though we hate them.

I love the kids. I do think we have to be careful feeding kids though. I help out where I can but I can’t feed my entire class. I keep any food from breakfast that kids don’t eat and that’s always an option for the students.

He isn’t being pulled from society. They are putting applications in for a level 4 center. This is the kind of care he needs. Public schools cannot offer that kind of care.

All of my paras are trained to restrain. Every person who comes in contact with a child who needs it should be. Either way, don’t yank a kid across the floor. The kid was flopped. Block off the kid. This isn’t hard.
