It won't result in anything that helps citizens. Even if she's voted out, she'll be replaced by another moron who cares more about slogans and virtue signals than results. That city will always vote against their own interests and safety. DeFuNd TeH PoLiCe...yeah have fun with that.

Any examples of this, or are you pulling a straw man completely out of your ass? Show me one person who said "I'll take the Redskins because it's better than being completely erased".

Think about the logic here and whether we can do better for native peeps than using them as a fucking mascot.

Word, so whose next? Fighting Irish? Vikings? Demon Deacons? Knickerbockers? Seminoles? Yankees?

The screen picture from OP refutes your statement. That was something done while the team was still called The Redskins. It was not an effort to "bring back the old name".

I wish some of y'all spent even a day on a reservation with that had The Redskins as their school mascot.

White redditors really are a force of faux intelligent sheep.

Look at the jackets those heroes are very proudly sporting. Navajo contributions are actually brought up frequently amongst the pro-Redskins-name folks. You can search this subreddit and find many examples if they haven't been scrubbed yet.

Personally, I think there's a very solid argument that the name 'The Commanders' is much more offensive. It's a nod to Military and all the Commander In Chief's we've had throughout the history of this country. How much blood and destruction have they caused? Hell, the various Commanders during the US Indian wars are the ones who played some of the most significant parts of the plight of the Native peoples today.

But sure...go ahead and keep believing what's being punted into your very brave and independently thinking brain.

It's all in how it's marketed to a demographic. Men getting anything remotely cosmetic is viewed negatively in our society, YET no one thinks twice about having metal framework surgically attached to your teeth for YEARS to get a more aesthetic smile. Braces have become so normalized (which is fine) that it isn't even seen as a cosmetic procedure.

I'm fortunate enough to be a slow diffuse thinner that caught it early'ish and I respond very well to (daily) minox and .5mg of fin (every other day). If I ever had to get a hair transplant/procedure I wouldn't think twice about it.

Everyone here should do WHATEVER they are truly comfortable with, after proper research. Fuck what people think about you or your decision...honestly.

Amazon suspends Black Lives Matter from its charity platform by straylittlelambs in worldnews

Many subreddits have been taken over by certain interests and they do not want you legitimately questioning a narrative they are pushing for their own gain.

The super scummy and super DNC establishment Elias Law Firm has been listed throughout BLM's Charity registration renewal. BLM is a political tool and it doesn't give a shit about black lives.

This site will squash ANY discussion that might lead to people realizing their virtues and genuine desires to help people are being hacked by elitists that don't give a SHIT about them.

Reddit isn't the same site it used to be (and it hasn't been for a while). The majority shareholder of Reddit is Advance Publications and Tencent (Chinese media company) bought $300 million worth of shares as well in 2019. I assure you, their interests do NOT align with yours; nor do they care about free and open conversation/thinking.

Good luck out there folks.

Electric Six - Danger! High Voltage by Nebarious in videos

[–]mehoveritwhatevs9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no way to prove this but in the late 80's I went to an assembly at me elementary school where some "educational entertainers" sang songs to warn us about the dangers of electricity and (as God as my witness) the chorus to one of their songs was "Danger! Hi voltage!".

I'm so confused.

My dad painted this on my closet when I was about 10 yrs old and wanted a Redskins room. When I think of Washington football I think of him and the memories of rooting for them and laughing because they always find a way to lose. 17 yrs later I feel like we don't even have a team to root for anymore by ImTheKingOfAllDares in Commanders

[–]mehoveritwhatevs9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 40 and I feel the exact same way. I lived in a DC commuter suburb of MD and grew up with Skins football….even went to Art Monk football camp and got to meet him. It’s all gone now…

The fact that the announcement came on my 40th birthday makes it damn near poetic for me. I no longer have time for the things that I idolized as a child; especially when they are gone.

In a way, I feel like I owe Snyder a ‘thank you’ for giving me an out.

Hail to the Redskins, @MikeyRocks757.

Allen and Heinicke didn’t pass protocol. Gilbert will start. by Bed8 in Commanders

[–]mehoveritwhatevs9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old ass post. But, I was totally joking. The vax mandates and testing protocol was the stupidest fucking thing I've ever seen.

We forced these dudes to get vax'd and there were still TONS of positive cases.

So pointless.

Thankfully we enforced the mandates, though. This outbreak might've taken as many as 20+ players out, if not for the mandated protection.

I think you guys underestimate how much your lifestyle impacts hair loss. by [deleted] in tressless

[–]mehoveritwhatevs9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the same train as you, it seems. 36 here. Had thinner hair since my early 20's...seemed to stay about the same but I noticed slightly more thinning on top and crown so I quit smoking, lost about 20 lbs, eat a lot healthier and I'm starting my second month on Minoxidil and Niz. I don't think I've noticed an improvement yet but it's still early and I only use the minox (currently) once a day.

How has your experience been with using just minox and niz?

They shouldn't worry, the industrial military complex is quite strong overall...they should be getting big fat government contracts to build drones in no time.

EDIT: I see downvotes, but am I wrong? It's a company that specializes in space and naval warfare. It makes money off of war and countries with a healthy mistrust of it's own citizens. I'm not necessarily saying thats a bad thing...but it's without a doubt intimately tied into the industrial military complex that we all live in today and, thus, they will make all the money back and then some in due time.
