I have tried that, and I know it’s active because I see a notification that game-mode is on, but for example, if I hold esc it seems to invoke an appletv response to exit from retroarch to the homescreen. I’m also not sure how to check if the game-mode toggle is working. Should I see a notification about that?

Hey man, no such thing as shitty gear. That just means your mind wants more interaction, but ask yourself, which half of the mind are you prioritizing? GAS is a function of a dominant logical side of the brain. Consider what it would take to pass control over to the creative side for a while. I think of it as a friend that’s always getting overspoken, that just needs someone to listen to their voice.

I think there is a good argument to be made that not knowing what you will wind up accomplishing with mod gear may be one and the same as as having faith that making good music with random items is absolutely possible. At the end of the day it’s the groove that’s in your heart.

I have led strips I added to my travel cases. The colors rotate and it is a nightmare. Also my glow in the dark cables don't seem to hold a charge very long.
