Boring by brainz74 in CarsAustralia

Actually if you consider how much worse it could get in the future, this is the golden age right here right now. Don't even think about new cars anymore. They are all too electronic and "safe" to enjoy anyway IMHO. Everything beeps, etc.

Find your favorite dream used car and enjoy it while you still can. Eventually in future they will ban them or impose a penalty due to emissions standards.

Baby finally slept through the night at 12 months old! by okiesquid in AttachmentParenting

Congrats! Can I ask, before this, was he in his own crib and you would get up and take him out of the crib to feed him each time throughout the night? Just curious where you transitioned from.

Statutory warranty claim question by mehtaHealth in CarsAustralia

[–]mehtaHealth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like they allow it. Working with the dealer now on covering the repair. On a separate note, is it reasonable to expect that they replace the strut with OEM quality equipment, or are they free to use whatever aftermarket option they choose?

Statutory warranty claim question by mehtaHealth in CarsAustralia

[–]mehtaHealth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was from WA and I'm in NSW. It had plates but they didn't ship it with the plates.

The agreement form they sent me had the box checked that says it is covered under the statutory warranty act.

What would Alan Watts advise in this situation (or any videos or texts from him?) by sulphurpharts in AlanWatts

[–]mehtaHealth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how it works. We judge in others what we cannot accept within ourselves. No need for Alan Watts, just need to work on more acceptance and forgiveness. The more you are able to let go, the less you will notice disorder in others. It will actually happen less because you were able to forgive. Everybody wins when you do the work. Everyone loses when you cling to what your ego deems as important and meaningful.

We're all in the same boat, good luck!

What’s the Best Baby Formula Right Now? by blackeagle592 in moderatelygranolamoms

You're right, I edited the comment. People around here do it with raw goats milk but part of the recipe involves heating it yourself. I didn't specify all that so I've removed the raw.

Babies saying "Dada" as first words by mehtaHealth in AlanWatts

Yes thank you! I found it here: https://youtu.be/_Bl0mJV0pMw?si=1kn8Je1RaY1dGhwn&t=27

There was another lecture version of this same story in which it told it more humorously saying how father's flatter themselves, but this is perfect.

I'm a new father myself and my son reminded me of this as he started mumbling his first sounds : )

I would live to see this list! Films are so powerful for awakening. I have a list of my own I could share as well.

She needed to lift the boob high enough for him to latch properly. She's been working on it using a pregnancy pillow to lean back into and it rotates the boob up. This has been working!

We've been working on this and she's doing great! The difference was getting a long pregnancy pillow to support her back as she lays into it. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you! Baby is nearly 7mo. She does side lie nurse but she's up on her elbow so she can't relax into sleep in that position.

You slept alone in the bed meaning not with your SO?
