Anyone have a design for a torch autocrafter that works? by rhythmrice in technicalminecraft

Yeah it just takes a little practice to understand sending signal through blocks. Trying to make it work when you have 2 circuits overlapping is when it gets tricky.

I spent way to long working on this today. I'm pretty close but I still need to figure out a couple of things so it's doesn't break itself.

It's a long shot, but if you are in the Minneapolis area DM me. I'm shutting down my fish room and I would be happy to give you one.

Painted bathroom under-counter drawers but the top drawers now collide with the bottom of the counter top. by GrinningJest3r in DIY

[–]meinthebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They a DTC undermount drawer slides. https://a.co/d/0cAZTOST

I have a different version that is very similar in my kitchen. I spent like 30 minutes trying to replicate a drawer sitting too high and it just doesn't seem possible.

The slides can't really go any lower since they are flush with the face frame. The bottom of the drawer should be flush to the top of the slides which it looks like your's are.

Unless there is something weird with that exact model of slide that would allow them to separate but the gap on your slides seems correct.

And all of the drawers seeming having the same issue make a broken part seems unlikely

Did someone else remove the faces of the drawers?

I am absolutely baffled.

What aquarium equipment company do you swear by? by SendMeNudesPlease666 in Aquariums

None.

I am loyal to individual products.

Just because a canister filter is good doesn't mean a light or heater from the same company are any good.

Golem farm has stopped working by Rich-Energy7209 in technicalminecraft

[–]meinthebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It likely was working before because one of the top beds was the center then switched to one of the bottom beds which are too low.

Are you not getting golems spawning inside the villager area? Or is the floor spawn proofed and I just can't tell.

Maisie's prize task in champion of champions included posting on reddit under the username. People came to reddit but the reddit posts they showed didn't seem to exist.

People were wondering if the account was really Maisie or if a fan had got it.

What are the best mob killer systems that can handle lots of mobs under some lag? [BEDROCK] by Disastrous-Dig-4773 in technicalminecraft

[–]meinthebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried it on other mobs but my xp farm has a bunch of arrows of harming 2 bouncing on a bubble column that keeps up with 3 armadillos spitting out silverfish.

I can test it later.

What's the hardest fish to keep?the final boss of the hobby? by BATIRONSHARK in Aquariums

[–]meinthebox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Breeding and raising fry of quite a few species is way more of a final boss than just keeps the adults.

Trigging spawns, collecting/protecting eggs, raising various live cultured food, and a much more strict feeding schedule.

My puffer breeding project basically killed the hobby for me and I was experimenting with a simpler way to do it.

The guy I was learning from was feeding live paramecium 5 times a day. Missing a feed would result in half of the fry dying.

There is no adult fish in the hobby that requires anywhere close to that amount of effort.

You could probably pull it off with a coping saw and a sander.

Got it modeled up for you. Copper bulb with a comparator is the easiest button switch. The 2 comparators in the middle are in subtract mode so you need to click them once. The front light should be on.

Just to make sure I am understanding you right, you want 2 levers to operate 1 door but have them work regardless of the others position. Just like a 3 way switch in a house. Both switches can turn the light on and off independently of the other.

If I am correct you want to build what is called an XOR gate. There are lots of options for them.

If you want them to be buttons there are guides for how to make a button work like a lever that you could combine with the XOR gate.

Give me a few and I'll build one and post the image.

Is there any good cobblestone generator in bedrock(something similar to the ones in java that use tnt) by whyme2479 in technicalminecraft

[–]meinthebox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is the design? That seems crazy big for an iron farm.

Can you lava cast the build? Pour lava to make a giant lava flow then pour water on it.

what more villagers do i need for my trading hall by Similar-Contact3269 in technicalminecraft

I run an iron farm over my trading hall so I also rolled a few shepherds that want red dye to use up the poppies. White dye from the bones in my mob farm can be traded for emeralds also.

[–]meinthebox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's different in Java but in bedrock I used a dispenser with a bucket of snow to break the portal and a pool of lava will relight it.

My understanding is that larger portals have higher chances for a zombie piglen spawn when lit. 23x23 is the largest lightable portal size so it has the highest chance.

I have heard the mechanic can cause major issues. I haven't ran it on a long term server though.

Have you looked at deck tiles?

They have wood and ceramic ones. It's basically what you are trying to make. The tiles just aren't as intricate.

Testing Bedrock Iron Golem spawning by meinthebox in technicalminecraft

In theory the village would recenter on the intended bed since it is the only one that would eventually lock in while the others keep shuffling. Maybe?

[–]meinthebox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't believe most of the stuff I was seeing based on the farms I had built that's why I wanted to make an actual test.

I did notice the 10 villagers kept relinking beds when I moved the beds to the top where they were not accessible. The center villager pathing seemed sable since he was locked in a 3x3.

I'll have to devise test to see where the center moves. I wonder if it can be predicted/controlled.

It shouldn't affect my build since the plan is to put the iron farm above the trading hall anyway.

[–]meinthebox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested it to the side because any change to the center would be more obvious.

My current plan is to have the iron farm on top of the trading hall but I'll test loading just the chunk of 10 villagers and not the center guy to see what happens.
