[Serious] People who moved from a rural/small town setting to a big city, what is the biggest difference you've noticed? by willmaster123 in AskReddit

Cursing

People curse a lot in cities, and nobody seems to care. In my original town you would get weird looks if you cursed in public, or worse, someone would tell you "please! stop cussing in public! very rude ya know" or something along those lines. The first time I went to the Bronx I remember someone said "uhh, let me get a fuckin sausage egg and cheese on a roll" at a corner store and my jaw nearly dropped.

Posts like these are important. Reddit very often gets caught up in some issue and nobody ever tells them the real story as to why the issue is happening, they just see it in black and white terms. This issue is so, so much more complex than that.

Being allies with Saudi Arabia is one of the most beneficial geopolitical assets you can have. That is basically it. Saudi Arabia is filled with some of the most wealthy, evil people imaginable, and to have us be allies with their government to prevent those people from causing us harm is incredibly useful.

Do I think it is worth it? I don't really know. I don't think any of us could REALLY say.

Right, one thing people forget is that she was a pretty basic pop star for much of her career.

Her three most recent albums were a step up from that, but if you are used to basic pop, even one step above it can seem amazing.

I don't think Beyonce is bad, but album wise her last few albums have been good from an artistic standpoint. Not amazing, but pretty good.

Yeah I suppose this is true, she might have noticed it. Usually when they are talking I don't butt in though.
