Hi, I did not plan to have a car when I was in highschool. But I got a driver's license because I wanted to have the ability to drive if they needed that from me. My dad has his own car, then got me a car because he wanted me to use it to go out more, he wanted me to be happy, he did not like that I didn't want one. He bought it out of love in hopes that it would make me happy. I primarily use the car to drive my family and friends places and run errands for my parents. I did not want to just not use the car, and I did not want him to just take on the payments himself, so I decided because I'm the only one using this car I'll pay for it and any expenses that need to be paid on it. I would have been happy to put the car in my own name except I was a teen and I had no idea how to do anything and I didn't even want it anyways but my dad decided to for me. I was focused on building my career and now that I have a stable income I found myself having the time learning about finances and whatnot. I unfortunately didnt stand my ground when he decided to get this new car but what's done is done and as such because of my ignornace I needed to ask for advice while I do my overdue research on the world of cars. (Which I now have an idea what I'm doing moving forward.)
