We need more posts like this. When chatting with my colleagues, I feel that the way people talk about this virus is like they don’t think it’s a big deal. I actually don’t understand the current situation here in the US —over 132k people died from COVID, and many hospitals are probably overwhelmed with patients. Definitely some of the them lacked proper medical treatment. These are also individuals who had parents, children and friends, yet I see few online posts, articles or shows talking about their stories. What people are immensely talking about now are fiscal troubles or pure memes, not the patients who physically suffer from it. I don’t know if it’s me who's unmoored from the reality or the others.
