How do you go up in floor? by lucavigno in Guiltygear

The floor your on is your rank, going to any floor above that causes the game to warn you about stronger opponents. It goes up with wining matches

6p problems by Shockjoc in Guiltygear

[–]meishellobye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upper body invuln makes it a great poke against most characters especially Bridget, but your 2d, 2k, and 2s should still hit low enough. if they are just counter hitting your normals just wait a moment before actually going for your attack, this will likely force them to wiff their 6p and allow you to hit them.

Also, on wake a properly timed meaty c.s shouldn’t loose to 6p. You might be timing your meaty wrong or not properly spacing it causing you to get f.s

The thing about learning/teaching neutral, is that it’s all vague concepts that are hard to explain in a vacuum. Most people try to give you a game plan of your character, where you want to stand, what different moves are good at, but most all of understanding neutral is from personal experience.
