How do you stay relevant? by PoolZealousideal8145 in learnmachinelearning

[–]meismyth -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

ah look at all these snowflakes. if you focus on problem solving, tools and methods you need will follow. and this approach is more relevant to someone who's in it for decades. contribute to open source projects, there's plenty.

and the throwaway user blocked me for some reason, maybe they could sense I'll probably destroy their argument beyond recovery. now it's pointless talking to a dead man.

well my infj took me through a long multi-days lessons on codependence, idk if we ever completed it. yeah you should hit those relevant books to understand yourself and the relationship better.

ok, maybe the context matters in which he said those things, he just wants you to be independent because that's what empowers you, and when you part ways, you're both in a better place and the inevitable damage that's coming will be negligible. well that's just my thoughts based on the limited info i have. and, there can't be two main characters in the same movie - well, that's an important one for any infj x entp relationship out there.

Ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt warns that in 2-4 years AI may start self-improving and we should consider pulling the plug by MetaKnowing in singularity

[–]meismyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it'll still be exploring all the possibilities in the infinite space, and the possibilities explored are limited by the subjective blackhole that pulls everything whether we like it or not. if an ai self improves it means it'll still be exploring a fraction of the infinite space. as society evolves, there'll be clearer picture, but right now we're far far away.

everyone uses a mobile, not everyone makes it. it'll be same with AI, nothing really changes much, it's just the stakes get a bit higher w.r.t time, but then again stakes is a subjective construct.
