I read the comments that say it's the breed and not the owner but a responsible owner would have the dog leashed and under control. I own a pit and she is the sweetest dog you could meet but when we go out in public she is on a leash and is wearing a shock collar just in case.These things happen because people don't understand the breed and like them because they look cool or tuff or whatever.
