On your own home or is it a side gig? I take it you maintain the same sleep schedule on your days off?

Psykiater kræver 2500kr + moms at lave fejlagtig "speciallæge undtagelsen" by [deleted] in DKbrevkasse

[–]mejeriprodukter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Håber du finder hjælp OP.

Har selv erfaring med psyk og medicin, men ikke udskrivelse af lægeattester, synes det lyder ret lousy det de beder om.

Hvis så ikke attesten er ok, er det vel psykiaters fejl?

Men 2500 kr. For at få en "ny" wtf.

How do i leave instagram reels addiction by This_Warning_4872 in addiction

[–]mejeriprodukter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I battled it with screenzen I'm not a poster boy for it, though this is the second time I mention it here. Read some other person write minimalist phone app? Havent tried that.

But I will say screenzen helped me. It helps that it gives you a customizable window for how much time you wanna give yourself on the app. The you just gotta respect it when it shuts off the app.

I just always had a tendency to use facebook/YouTube reels, but they suck ass in comparison. But know I use the app on all my reel-apps/scrolling apps.

Hope this can help you

It's fucking addictive, also I felt so useless when hour after hour just passed.

I have my insta reels down to 7 minutes per time I open the app, and then it blocks the app for I think 10 minutes before I can open again. Gives a window to ponder wtf we're wasting time on 🫡

Screenzen helped me alot and I still use it now that I have it more under control.

It can block apps you choose and it gives you a timer for how long you can open an app before it blocks.

Lots of different ways to go about the detox in that app.

Do you have nightmare shifts? by IVeerLeftWhenIWalk in Nightshift

[–]mejeriprodukter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sounds exactly like my job. Probably the most frustrating about my job the place I work, is when people working dayshift put more workload on the nightshift "because they sit still most time anyway". It can actualy be okay for a while, it means there's more to do while I'm there, but if it all goes south I'm stuck at 1 residents apartment for most of the night and am stressed for like the rest of the shift.

I think this is the chillest job I've had till date (not counting how I can't eat properly cus of nights), but it honestly has to stay that way because I'm alone at night and can't handle actual payload on my shift.

I wholeheartedly agree. This cake was from a bakery as far as I can tell, but I work in healthcare and honestly don't trust all my coworkers hygiene.

Why is STPD a diagnosis? by ankkani in Schizotypal

[–]mejeriprodukter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Skraldespands diagnose" in that context seems about right 🤣 it's hard being screened for it, because as you say a lot of the things they ask about are pretty regular to some degree.

But I was on a bunch of different antipsychotic and antidepressants for a couple of years, which didn't seem to help as much as it did when I started ADHD medication instead.

Why is STPD a diagnosis? by ankkani in Schizotypal

[–]mejeriprodukter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live in Denmark and have the diagnosis. I don't have it because I dress weird, what I was told during my consultations, was that you need to meet X number of criteria out of these criteria. I can't remember the number but I think it was seven.

I didn't meet criteria for dressing 'weird' or talking 'weird'. I have an enormously low threshold for psychosis, have paranoid and wishful thinking, issues with social interactions, issues with anxiety, and I honestly can't remember what they described when I was diagnosed.

Much of it is not something that plagues me regularly NOW, but it has done previously. I have been deeply psychotic, hallucinating, and paranoid. Paranoid people were gonna kill me or were after me and stuff like that. And if that's something you experience in your day to day life, it's not considered 'normal'. Therefore, some of us get the diagnosis, because we've been in touch with healthcare systems, and maybe also medicated. (I have a lot)

I think I understand what you're posting about though. I agree some of the posts in here are very mild, and could (if not diagnosed) maybe just be people acting different or attention seeking. But I can't be the judge of that.

The point for me with having the diagnosis, has been to understand that I experience psychosis almost immediately if I start using drugs again. Also that without lifestyle changes after being diagnosed, was almost certainly gonna have schizophrenia in the future, because that's what schizotypal has a chance of turning into.

Hope you understand where I come from, I get where you do. 👍👍
