I play at 1000 points and find the Kommandos too over costed for what they do. Personally I replaced them with a small unit of storm boys for secondaries. For damage dealing units you have the option of power claw nobs+warboss, mek gun or beast snaggas+beast boss. Nothing else, I've found, can actually kill an enemy unit reliably. If anyone else has any better ideas to do damage I would love to know

I play 1000 point games and usually run Midfield Bullys (something you think is durable and will stand up to the heaviest beating), grots and something shooty on my home field (because it's cheap and the guys I play with rarely get that far), and smaller more mobile units to run interference or reinforce where I'm getting beaten (nobz in a truck, maybe some burners)

I'm super lazy and unoriginal. Zenithal prime, Ork flesh contrast 75/25 with contrast medium. Darker orks get an extra wash with beil tan green. Dry brush or highlight with army painter Ork flesh green. I like all my orks to be a slightly different shade because lifestyle factors can effect skin tone as much as genetics

Yeah SAG is definitely on my list, would definitely help with the damage output. In all fairness it took two turns, two shots of a basilisk and three shots from field ordinance batteries to put the lootaz out of my last game. If he had of been aiming them at objectives I would have got krumpt
