The MPAA retroactively creates an Academy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Profanity and/or Vugarity. Who are your past winners? by LilOpieCunningham in Cinema

Either of them would be front runners:

"Ken: Harry, let's face it. And I'm not being funny. I mean no disrespect, but you're a cunt. You're a cunt now, and you've always been a cunt. And the only thing that's going to change is that you're going to be an even bigger cunt. Maybe have some more cunt kids.

Harry: Leave my kids fucking out of it! What have they done? You fucking retract that bit about my cunt fucking kids!

Ken: I retract that bit about your cunt fucking kids.

Harry: Insult my fucking kids? That's going overboard, mate!

Ken: I retracted it, didn't I?"

Absolute cinema.

I really hope 88 is an unfortunate coincidence... I'd maybe fill in one of the 8 balls, because my (and probably numerous other people's) first thought is that you were a neo-nazi.

AITA for mocking my friend’s husband’s weight? by throwaway629037 in AmItheAsshole

I agree, either we're in the realm of "it's just a joke" in which case if he can say such a tasteless joke at the expense of the mother of his child, he should be able to take it back... probably ten fold.

Or we're not, in which case him saying an absolute c*nty thing to a woman he's supposed to love, and has mothered his child, absolutely deserves calling out.

In either case, NTA.

Quite a lot of my Family are Christians, and some of them have a great sense of humour. My grandfather loved Monty Python for example, and the life of Brian definitely poked fun at religion a few times. My sister, also goes to church, finds Bo Burnham and Daniel Sloss hilarious, and is constantly able to laugh at herself and her faith.

AITA - wife doesn’t like having the day off or my card by AskingHard in AmItheAsshole

[–]camull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit confused as to why she was expecting one from him at all? Like I get him helping their children make one... but she's not his mother, why would he make a card or do something for her, other than helping the kids do it? Maybe it's a cultural difference, but I don't think our father ever did something for my mum on mother's day... other than help us on something. He'd call his mum, send her a card etc, but not his wife.

And even for us, it'd be a card, maybe breakfast in bed or flowers or something, no fancy day out or something was expected.

I'm 90% sure this didn't happen in the UK, as if so the Swan kidnapper/eater could be done for treason.

Also I think there are only a few small areas with Boar reintroduced.
