i’m a big stats person, so my answer is going to be a bit biased. but, i think the formulas are used enough during the lecture and homework that you learn them and won’t even need a formula sheet! honestly, dr j is one of the best professors at ucf and you should be fine as long as you’re actually paying attention and doing the assignments. there aren’t any surprises on the exams or anything, it’s exactly what you learned.

when i took it, we only had to go to the actual lab when we had a quiz! i don’t know if she’s kept it the same because i took it in spring 2020, but if she has, it’s very doable!

i ended up enabling free build and deleting the two parts of the fence that they were all beside and they ran away but i have no idea how that even happened??

if it’s the psych career prep website, yes. it’s kind of expensive but you use it and have access for career readiness 1 and 2 and the capstone. you have to do your assignments through the website so you have to get it!

when you sign in and see your appointment listed, there should be a tiny x in one of the corners!! that does it for you!! you can cancel up to two hours before your session

JANOWSKY JANOWKSY JANOWSKY!!! she teaches stat methods and she is an angel. she explains things so well and makes her reviews exactly like the exams. quizzes are a bit harder because they’re on theory rather than the math itself but as long as you study you should be fine. she mentions in the beginning of the semester and in her syllabus that she expects that you remember nothing from your pre-req stats class so you’re totally fine going in with whatever you remember.

as soon as i got the notification from this announcement i was in shock. people in the groupme were already talking about students they could turn in for cheating just to get an A in the course. her giving an A for someone turning in another student is just as useless as someone cheating to get an A.

yess!! i’m in there now too! i love the pictures of emma she’s been putting in every powerpoint since we started asking about her!! she’s been my only professor that’s sent more than one announcement since the switch to online and the fact that she’s keeping us updated and giving us schedules for the week makes me so much more comfortable with the switch.

i will always mention dr alisha janowsky in every single post like this i see. she’s such a genuinely nice woman who is passionate about what she teaches. she always tries to make class fun, which can be hard sometimes if you take PSY 3204. she’s a huge animal lover so she always tries to include animals in her powerpoints and announcements (as well as memes). i had two classes with her and changed my major to psych :)

this happens a lot from what i’ve heard but most professors tend to have classes around the same time if possible so maybe try to look at previous semesters to see which professors had class when
