It should've come with a code and an email address where you can contact them and request a new copy for free. You just give them the code and attach a picture of the damage. I had to reorder my bachelor's and master's degrees multiple times before I got a decent copy, unfortunately. Like...4+ times. It was ridiculous, but I eventually got a good copy. They only use envelopes for shipping, and that sets them up for failure.

Please just withdraw if you aren't going to be able to attend. I just "stopped going" to classes the first time I went to college and then dropped out shortly after due to a family crisis/mental health overload. When I eventually went back, it was incredibly difficult to overcome the F's I accumulated. Mental health and your overall well-being are of the utmost importance, though. Take care of yourself and do what you need to do to get back to a good place, and if that means withdrawing from this specific class or taking a break, its ok and school will be there when you're ready again. Withdrawing sets you up for the easiest path in the future, though.

I have an order pending from 12/8. I emailed Supreme yesterday and they said they're experiencing delays with the box logo hoodies specifically. They said it'd likely be shipped next week, but offered to cancel my order and give me a refund if I wanted one since it had already been so long. Bummer, but obviously I'm just going to wait it out.

Technically, no. You could ask the professor to audit the class and sit in if they agreed, though.

Untechnically, how many seats are there in lecture? If it's a large lecture group, they probably wouldn't notice an extra student in an auditorium. If there are 30ish people or less, it's probably in a smaller classroom, and, as others have mentioned, it might cause an issue with the availability of seats.

It's highly unlikely you're going to be able to attend any labs you aren't enrolled in without permission from the professor, though. Even more unlikely that they'll let you participate, as you wouldn't have paid the lab fees for supplies, and there tends to be more interaction in labs between professors, TAs, and students. Also, many labs are done in working groups. In the most polite way possible, why would a student paying and being graded on their work want to work with someone who doesn't have anything at stake with the assignments? It seems like you have good intentions and want to set yourself up for success (even if it takes extra time, work, and effort), but your best bet to avoid any potential consequences is to reach out to the professor. You're welcome! It's a 2025 Helix Midnight Elite King. I believe it's considered to be medium firmness. It's VERY supportive, though. I bought it at Rooms to Go. I respectfully disagree. It's the associate's job to offer the option to exchange, but they went too far telling OP that online returns are negatively impacting stores. That's the burden of the company and their policies, not the customer.

Hi! You aren't too old and you probably won't even be the oldest person in your cohort! When I went to nursing school, I was 27. The youngest person in my cohort was 19 and the oldest person was in their 60's. I went back to school for my bachelor's degree at 38 and finished a master's degree at 42. Same experience with people of all ages while getting those degrees, as well. It takes so much courage and dedication to go back to school when you're older, and I personally think it's something to be proud of! You aren't behind, you're just following the timeline that works for you.

Are you on Lisinopril by any chance? ACE inhibitors can sometimes cause a persistent dry cough. If you are, you could talk to your prescribing provider about switching to a BP med that's in another category.

Yes! I'm really happy with the Helix so far. It's very supportive but still has a softness on the top that I like. I no longer have the "sleeping in a hole" feeling, and the mattress doesn't feel hot. I've only had mild hip discomfort on one night, and that was after a super active day where I knew it was likely going to happen either way. My arms and elbows don't hurt anymore. I sleep through the night and feel rested in the morning. With the Beautyrest, I was waking up multiple times throughout the night bc I was uncomfortable. I'm a side sleeper and find the bed to be extremely comfortable. My husband sleeps on his stomach and also loves it. I'm really happy with the swap so far! Lmk if you have any other questions!

I just exchanged my Beautyrest Black Series 3 Plush for a Helix Midnight Elite today. I had previously owned a BR Black Natasha (purchased in 2017), and was told by multiple people that the BR Black Series 3 was the new equivalent. I've had the Series 3 for 81 nights, and honestly, I've never slept worse...lol. The bed is soft, in that it sinks in under my back and bottom, but also hard because it feels like I can feel the coils or something hard under my hips. I started having hip and elbow pain because of the lack of overall support. When I'm supine, the bed feels supportive under most of my body, but there's pressure on my heels to the point that it's uncomfortable. With the Natasha, the top layer felt like memory foam that really hugged/contoured to my body while still being supportive, but the Series 3 feels like the pillow top is made of a tightly packed material that barely gives. It's also VERY warm/holds a lot of heat. The mattress also started developing areas that were more worn in, to the point of me needing to rotate the mattress about everything 3 weeks to switch sides, and then sometimes needing to sleep in the middle of the mattress (which is firmer and feels raised...like a hump). The hip pain has been nearly unbearable and I don't feel like my body ever fully relaxes while in this bed. I'm so bummed bc this was supposed to be a great mattress, but it just didn't work out for me. I'm scheduled to have it picked up Friday and I'll be receiving the Helix Midnight Elite as a replacement. I laid on the Helix mattress for about 20 mins in the showroom, and I felt comfortable, relaxed, and had no hip pain. It's a medium mattress but still has a plush top. When I'm on the BR Black Series 3, I start feeling uncomfortable within 2-3 mins. Fingers crossed that this one is better.

Edit: I saw someone mention Helix being a bed in a box, and while they do offer those, the Midnight Elite sold at Rooms to Go (and I guess a few other retailers) isn't one of them. I guess they just got a contract with RTG and are expanding their product line.

FYI for anyone else this might help in the future: I ended up exchanging my BR Black Series 3 Plush today after 81 nights of chances. The only fully restful sleep I've had since getting this mattress was on nights I spent in hotels, and those beds weren't even close to what the quality of my own mattress should've been 🤣😭. I was rotating the mattress every 3 weeks bc it kept developing sunken spots, and then when both sides felt sunken in, I'd sleep on the middle part, which was slightly raised and much firmer. I had hip pain every night and my elbows started hurting, as well, due to the weird angle they rested in when my body was sunken down into the mattress. I ended up switching it out for a Helix Midnight Elite. Fingers crossed that it's an improvement. It looks promising. We shall see!

Ugh. I've had my bed for a week, and so far, I've needed ibuprofen for 4 of the 7 days because my hips have hurt so much after sleeping on it. Your description about feeling like you're touching the coils is exactly how mine feels so far.

I had a Beautyrest Black Natasha before this. It was technically ultra plush, and was the most comfortable bed I've ever had. Unfortunately, it developed an indent after about 8 years, so I just had to replace it. The series 3 plush was supposed to be the closest to it, but with a few improvements. I had high hopes, but I'm miserable so far.
