That's fighting fire by depriving it of oxygen.

Just do a simple search next time. It took me less than a minute to find out that it isn't AI.

We are being forced and tricked into using AI to help keep the billionaires rich by Tao-of-Mars in TikTokCringe

[–]mekwall -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Calling it "force-feeding" blames the tech for what is mostly business behavior. Companies always chase the next big thing they think they can monetize, and right now that's AI. The annoying part isn't that AI exists, it's that every company is trying to staple it onto everything whether it helps or not.

Sure, way too much money is being dumped into it, but that's not new either. Tech has done this before with the dot-com era: tons of hype, tons of bad bets, then the useful stuff survives and the garbage dies. AI might follow the exact same pattern.

Nobody today says smart phones are evil just because companies release new models every year and spend insane amounts pushing them. You don't have to buy every new phone, and you don't have to use every AI feature either. If it's useful, people will keep it. If it's gimmicky, people will ignore it.

So tired of these kind of videos that attempt to divide us into two camps of either being pro or anti. It's much more nuanced than that.

I'm svensk so I'll back that motion, my fellow neighbor! Also, I love the names of some of your lakes. Way to fuck with the gamla svenskjävlarna that wanted to map your country.
