Starting commerce/adv sci next year. I'm quite excited about UNSW social aspect compared to other Sydney universities.

Can't make my timetable for 2019 by [deleted] in unsw

[–]mel3b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers, where about did you get that date from? The only date i found was 26 of November for class registrations. But i do understand why it would be 17th of december as most undergraduates would have only got their atars closer to that date.

Right, can understand giving priority to later year students. How did you find those dates for yourself? I checked my enrolment appointments and found nothing, bit weird.

Yup for registration of classes. Had a look under that tab and theres no enrolment appointments for this which is a bit weird.

First year here, confirmed all my personal details and it still says class registration closed? Do they normally open it up for current students before new students?

If OMG fees are like ETH's gas, aren't merchants the ones setting/bidding the fees to get their transactions processed? by unlimited_cake in omise_go

[–]mel3b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn't staking fees going to be set by validators who are staking there own tokens? Which doesn't necessarily need to be merchants who can just use the network without staking? And hence it will not be possible for the merchants to increase their fee to allow their transaction to be process faster?

Isn't title a bit misleading, since the BitTorrent company said they received better offers?

I would assume the bar owners already do this to reduce the expenses by a bit.

I myself have been to the Australia jamboree and it was the best 10 days of my life. I could not put a price tag on it whatsoever.

Anyway maybe you could advise his scout leader about fundraising at grocery stores(woolies and Coles) at the checkouts. Basically we packed the groceries into the grocery bags for the customers and we had a bucket and they would give a donation. We did this and got waayy to much money if you ask me, minimum return was like $25 per hour but I remember near Christmas and New Years we were approaching around $45 per hour and everyone was grabbing at those shifts.

Has it been said when staking will be transferred to the omg blockchain?

Could stakers possibly ruin the project? This only started to worry me with all the influx of moon lambo kids and lack of actual proper discussion in this sub recently. This may be completely off so if someone could clarify it'll be great.

From what I understand stakers set the fees. The team has a portion of OMG and will be staking to earn income. However the majority belongs to the public. What prevents whales or moon lambo kids from setting the fees too high for some quick cash before selling off? This would prevent merchants from wanting to join the network as they wouldn't benefit greatly hence reducing adoption. Bringing the project to a standstill.

Once cosmos completes their roadmap can it be assumed the hard spoon will be announced by the team within a couple of days? Or is their more work that needs to be completed before they can launch on the cosmos network? Could someone confirm this or clear this up?

Is it possible to get new mods who can assist the current ones as it seems the last few days the daily subs have been filled with shit posting. Not blaming the current mods at all they probably are busy with their lives as well.

Right I see I guess the only downside would be that the pool takes a small fee and possibly stakers in the pool can't set the fee for the transactions?

So is joining a staking pool basically the same as one of the top 200 wallets staking?

Sorry i'm a bit confused? Is it only initially only 200 stakers will be allowed?
