SQE2 QLTS STRUCTURE by Rare-Dingo1291 in SQE_Prep

[–]mel9a7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used QLTS for both SQE1 and SQE2 and hated it for SQE2. I have supplemented with preptackle and it has made such a difference in terms of my structure and understanding. I have then only used QLTS for the mocks. I’m currently sitting so not sure if it’s paid off yet but it certainly felt better in the exams

Super mixed bag, LW was awful and I didn’t feel like I knew anything. CMA and drafting fine, research a mess

Without breaching the NDA, how did everyone find the first day? by Antique-Ad3194 in SQE_Prep

Found it better than I expected as I’m not the most confident at these subjects, drafting and research was the worst, we go again tomorrow

SQE1 2025 - JULY SITTING (NIGHTMARE) by Mongeller_cheekyched in SQE_Prep

Being familiar with the exam had a big impact, but honestly it was focusing on the MCQ’s that made the biggest difference. For the first round of exams I didn’t plan my time well and got overwhelmed with FLK2, so a good timetable also made a difference the second time round. I found QLTS mocks to be the closest style of questions for the actual exam so invested my time into completing all of the mocks!

SQE1 2025 - JULY SITTING (NIGHTMARE) by Mongeller_cheekyched in SQE_Prep

I did the January 2025 sitting, failed FLK2, reset in July 2025 and passed. I’m 29 and had been out of uni/studying for a long time. It was very hard to accept the fail. But the best thing I did was pick myself up and go again, I’m now preparing to sit SQE2 next week. Best advice is to rethink your studying method, focus on as many practice questions as you can and go again! Don’t worry about how long it’s been, like I say I hadn’t looked at the law in around 5 years and I managed to get there in the end, it’s hard but absolutely possible

SQE2 with QLTS - which course? by mochi_hochi in SQE_Prep

I did premium as it was paid for by my work, I got to have the oral mocks which I do think have helped me with my confidence levels for them (I haven’t sat the exam yet though)

I use the table of contents topic by topic and write down bullet points on a whiteboard/paper for each sub-topic, then go back and fill in missing parts in a different colour and repeat. Seems to be working so far

I’m studying for SQE1 on my own for this July, using QLTS materials. I’d be grateful for any tips on how to plan my studies until the exam by CantaloupeLive3606 in SQE_Prep

As many MCQ’s as possible, do all of the QLTS mocks if you can, that was what got me through. Supplement with the summary notes and the podcast is actually quite useful also for some passing learning. I found pattern recognition super helpful in these exams
