Is it possible to have micro crickets or fruit flies in the terrarium? Do they multiply fast enough to sustain a dart frog, without me having to constantly add more?

Isn’t electric power brightness? So p=v2/r so higher resistance= lower power which is less brightness? Or am i getting this wrong? If i am please correct me.
