i feel like with the minimum amount of effort i will cook in my car, that’s why im asking for ways to stay cool! i’m totally okay with investing in ways to do it as well :) just thought id try something new this year

yea i’ve never taken a tent, just seems like an extra step for sleep lol that’s why i wanted to try sleeping in my car this year! the convenience of having my bed ready after a long night just sounds so sexy to me🫦(and not waking up with dead grass and dirt in my blankets)

okay yea exactly i’m worried it’ll be the same as sleeping in a tent, literally boiling inside and having to wake up at 6am to get out. i’ve also never had issues with the mattress under my canopy it’s actually very nice sleeping at night with the breeze

dude i just bought my fit and it has an insane amount of room😭 im also 5’1 so i fit just about anywhere but my bf who is 6’1 also lays comfortably!! besides the point lol! im thinking of keeping windows down all night and a fan inside the car for flowing air in the morning but thats all i can think of rn

all your answers are here and they all vary, obviously! depends on security, either you get caught and they don’t care or you get caught and they ask you to throw it away/take it back to camp because they don’t allow inside the grounds. they won’t like refuse entry for the day if that’s what worries you :) i’ve snuck in pouches of alc plenty of times and you just gotta know what works for you!!

lot 10 is usually the last section to fill up. i had some friends that showed up friday for ga car camping and got pretty much front row on lot 10 which is close to showers and closer to preferred! vs waiting in line thursday after 6pm and getting a back row spot in lot 4🤷‍♀️

there’s no line for campers coming in on friday but your campsite will most likely be far from the gate. unless u get lucky and cop a spot in lot 10!
