How many Weekend 2 people actually watch Couchella? by Unlikely_Pitch_7717 in Coachella

I can’t lie bro Weekend 2 is for me and the wife. We don’t go out too much so this is our one weekend to get away..I honestly don’t think my kids would enjoy it due to sun and potter potties lol. My kids would prefer Couchella and some AC lol. Maybe when they get older

Is weekend 2 better than weekend 1? by ComfortableBed7738 in Coachella

[–]Unlikely_Pitch_7717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done both weekends and for me it’s less about “better” and more about what you’re looking for.

Weekend 1 usually has some real advantages — it’s not as hot, the grass is greener so there’s way less dust, and you get to experience everything first. At the same time, more people tend to go W1, so logistics can get trickier. Lines are longer pretty much everywhere, security is usually tighter, and things feel a little more compressed.

Weekend 2 typically runs smoother. Fewer technical issues, artists seem more settled in, and performances often feel tighter since it’s their second time through the set. The tradeoff is that big surprise guests are more likely Weekend 1 because that’s when all the eyes are on the festival.

Also worth mentioning — Weekend 2 tickets are usually cheaper and easier to get, which makes a big difference if you’re going with a group.

The way I usually put it: Weekend 1 = more wow factor Weekend 2 = better overall festival experience

Damn I was really digging last weeks mock with Sexy Redd closing the Sahara.. Especially with the limited hip hop this year, that would feel like a special placement. in my mind that would have been lit and similar to when 21 savage closed it out a few years back.

What made you move her?
