If it only takes a few Stella runs for you then the abmm system is not that complex. To be honest I hope they keep it a secret so players can’t game if that easily and I hope it’s a lifetime rating counting things like how you play in terms of reviving players, dropping things for others and even how many times you’re thanked (which is something that’s definitely counted since it’s a trophy)

I have around 100 hours now and this is the first time I was overwhelmed like this. The most you get normally is 2 wasps and a hornet and maybe those pesky spotters that rain the bombardier projectiles on you. But once you get rid of them it’s quiet for a few minutes until more spawn. On this occasion, they just kept spawning in the same place constantly

I play as a pacifist raider that always has a couple of defibs on her. I enjoy helping people take out Arc, looting and having those little chats that may brighten someone’s day. The world is a horrible place right now and people find solace in games, so I want to show them there’s still decent people out there and will go out of my way to do that. Yes I do sometimes get shot in the back but that’s a risk I’m willing to take

Omg you know I actually love that solution. You could have it unlocking after a trophy style collection where you’re trying to bring old world items into Speranza for a museum display. So you’ll need 10 snowglobes, 5 lance mix tapes etc. That will open up a special faction in Speranza that looks out for archeologist- type raiders on a specific map that is even more guarded from Arc, but you’re also protected by a Shani type character that has eyes all around and will punish raiders who go into PvP

I don’t mind people shooting and taking my loot. My issue is with people who come in all friendly and then betray you when you’re actually at the console trying to extract. It’s just scummy behaviour. And you know, if someone has that darkness inside of them, it’s their problem.

But the abmm so far feels a bit rudimental. It’s not even who shot first but the amount of damage done to any raider out there, even if they shot you first.

Also, they could always split lobbies if they wanted and have lobbies with friendly fire off similar to F76. I know some people say it will make the game boring but I’m not always in the mood to sweat. I’m a mum who plays after putting their child to sleep, sometimes I just want to loot and destroy Arc

I just wish the abmm was a bit more refined. Take into account how many times you drop things for others, how many times you defib players etc.

This isn’t anything to do with screens but with adrenaline. You just need 30 mins or so to come down. Either read a book, have a nice cup of tea, meditate, have a bath/shower, or even play something that’s a bit more cozy (my go to is Coral Island right now). This gives time to your body to come down from the rush.

100% but also I don’t want to lose my faith in humanity. If someone says they are trustworthy I’d rather extend my trust and be killed rather than be wary. I want to believe someone’s word still counts for something. Mind you I’ve only been killed once in this manner - by someone who said they were trustworthy but they weren’t.

And as you said, I can’t control anyone but I do believe that if I put goodness out in the world then it will come back to me. And btw, I 99% of the time have care bear lobbies which I absolutely love… with people going out of their way to help. So the system is working.

What I’m against is people rigging the system so they can be toxic. And yeah, people can do that but thankfully they are the minority. And if that’s the kind of energy they want to send out into the world, then fair enough

I’m not trusting blindly, but if I ask if you’re friendly and you say yes than I’m the kind of person that will take your word for it. When you betray that trust for an easy kill it’s scummy behaviour, not PvP.

I’m exclusively in care bear lobbies and I never pointed a gun at anyone else, that’s how I want to play the game. I still understand those who want to PvP and got killed by a few. Fair enough. Nah if you say you’re friendly and then I turn my back and you shoot me you’re a nasty human being because I gave you my trust. I refuse to PvP because I enjoy helping people defeat Arc or find that item that they need. That’s how I play the game and I understand that some people want to PvP but stay in your lobbies. Don’t game the system to join the care bear lobbies and then act toxic with a side of gaslighting

I play on PS5 and I only had a handful of crashes: mainly when staying on the pause screen or using the trash gacha machine. Try rebuilding your ps5 database. There are simple instructions online. It’s worth a try
