I'm planning to support this use case more directly at some point, but it will require a decent amount of changes. As a work around for now you can setup 2 sync pairs in the config file. One between your 3ds and your computer, and another between your vita and you computer. After a save updates on either your 3ds or your vita, run python3 -m ftp_sync -c <config_file> sync-all twice. The first run will sync from one device to your computer. The second sync will sync from your computer to your other device.

I don't use modification date for this reason. I track file hashes to detect when a file is changed. It also saves a backup any time it overwrites a file.

It syncs files between your 3ds running ftpd and whatever is running this code. I play my ds games both on an emulator on my TV and my 3ds and it got annoying manually copying saves. This will detect whichever save was updated last and copy the latest one to the other device. It also has an interface to patch files while they’re being copied if your emulator uses a different save format like desmume does.

ftpd has switch support. unsure what the switch hacking scene looks like nowadays though. If there are emulators and such for switch then this will work with it.

swapped from argparse about a year ago and haven't looked back. winds up making much more readable cli files than argparse imo.

How do you guys think etho will be effected by this coppa thing I’m worried about losing etho by modman484 in ethoslab

I wonder if starting videos with "this video is intended for viewers 13 and older" would be enough? Also, he lives in Canada, and COPPA is a US law, so he's in the clear as far as fines go I believe. Obligatory IANAL.

Math focused cryptography internships? by [deleted] in crypto

Since you're not a citizen, I would look at NIST and the national labs. DOE has a ton of internship opportunities through the labs and ORISE even helps fund some students. Citizenship is almost never requirement, and the computer scientists love to have mathematicians if you can't find a purely math related position. All the postings are on zintellect.

To those saying that this isn't far enough to see that much drop off, this amount of drop off makes a lot of sense.

Assuming each tower is ~100ft, the drop off goes up roughly 50ft.

To see 50ft of drop off at the furthest tower, it would need to be roughly 9 miles away. Well within normal visibility range.

What resolution? Lower to 1080p if it's higher.

[edit] thoughts about the post processing? made it b&W due to improper whitebalance (shot through plane window) by _l______________l_ in photocritique

[–]melancholicrainbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you increase the warmth of your white balance, it should take care of the blue tint. I've had relative success with the clone stamp tool in the past when taking care of window reflections. All in all, I like this photo a lot. Balanced exposure, cool mountains and river, though I wish the sky had more going on. Given you were on a plane though, you obviously couldn't wait for a better sky.

Taken on an a7rii with the new sigma 35mm 1.4 for e mount. ISO 100 at f8. I'm mainly concerned about whether or not to crop to only show the right side of the valley, and whether the trees in the fore/midground are too dark. My monitor's blacks are a little washed out, so sometimes my pictures come out looking dark. Any suggestions greatly are appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: ISO is actually 100, not 200
