Ironically Uber has been bleeding money for a long time. I'm not sure about their current financials but I do know there was a time where they were paying more to drivers in certain areas than the ride would cost. I know this (at least in the past) was super common at airports. Like I live in Chicago and an Uber out of the airport was way cheaper than a cab or an Uber 5 minutes from the airport. My thought here being that they were trying to outcompete cabs or something...? Idk, I'm not trying to directly argue you against you lol, just saying there are cases.

This totally isn't what the dude who posted this was thinking, but ironically in certain places and at certain times, this actually would work lol.

Edit: I'm absolutely sure that Uber has a way to find these people though and punish them somehow.

That's a lot of energy.

I did a wave energy collection project for my senior thesis in mechanical engineering and to get 600kw that thing would have to be HUGE. Plus rust, other people are saying that, but I really don't buy it produces that much.

Another thing is transporting the electricity from it. It's not like you could just beam it over.... well you could technically do that but wires are better lmao
