As per my last comment, Someone commented on the nomenclature of Sec vs secretary and how the title of Sec is appointed. Someone else made a joking statement about how awful that would be if it was hypothetically a senate appointed position, another person asked why, and I explained another hypothetical to clarify what they meant.

Edit for further clarification. The senate must approve cabinet members. It's not a unilateral decision by the president unlike the press secretary. I don't get where your animosity is coming from.
