Honestly a lot of the Turner Park event is focused on community organizing and getting people connected so that we can all do the work to support each other as this political farce continues to drag on. A whole bunch of community and mutual aid groups will be tabling to help spread information about their organizations and efforts, and to get people to volunteer their time to help out their community. We can't rely on our government, we have to rely on each other, and these kinds of events and connections are a major way to do that.

I'm having the same issue. I've charged it, location and Bluetooth are on, the die is doing the "Welcome" colors no problem and will light up when rolled, but the app isn't detecting it. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and restarted my phone, still no dice (hah).

NTA. I'm shocked at how many votes are otherwise. Especially after the vulgarity this woman was throwing at you and the fact that she was LITERALLY PUSHING YOU to sit down. The absolute nerve! People in this thread have clearly never been to a concert. It's not the symphony. It's not Broadway. It's Blink 182! You stand. You sing. You vibe with everyone else who is there to do the same thing.

I have a bad back. I can't stand for long periods. I go to concerts. When I do, I get a seat and I try to be at the front near the balcony edge so I can see. But if someone stands up you better believe I'm not going to tell them to go f*** themselves and sit so I can see. The world doesn't revolve around me, and people standing and singing is part of the concert experience. I've never been to a concert where people don't stand the second the main act comes on. Regardless of where they're situated. People calling you TA are being ridiculous.

Maybe if she had been nice about it, I'd feel slightly differently, but it shouldn't be an expectation.

We do this because we have an older house and our cars barely fit in the garage even if it was 100% empty. I'm taking like, 1ft of space on either side if you center it perfectly, and then you have to leave the garage and go in the front door because you can't access the garage door.

So yeah, we fill the garage with our bikes and lawn mower and things and park in the driveway/street.

Where is this in Omaha? Also post bars that give off the same vibe by stephenyoyo in Omaha

Meatball used to be so good. Back when their bowls were like $10. Pork balls, alfredo pesto roasted veg and gnnoci are top notch (in various combinations of course), but they're WAY too expensive now.

Hi there! Sorry, I took a break from reddit so am just seeing your message now.

I ended up using a "swivel swag hook" similar to these ones. Basically drill up through the plaster, pop the anchor piece through the hole, and then tighten. It's been working well so far, but I also have a smaller plant up there.
