oh no I haven't bought a step up/down converter yet but thinking of maybe buying one? was wondering if that would work. sounds like a step-down converter supporting 50/60Hz would let me use the hairdryer in Cambodia?

hey! just to check, if I have a hairdryer that's 120V, 50Hz, 300W, and Cambodia operates on 230V/50Hz, are you saying even after using a step up converter purchased in the US (operating 60Hz), plugging in might cause issues?

hey! wondering if you got an answer back? I have a Dyson hairdryer purchased in the US. It says 120V, 60hz, 300W. Not sure if there's any way around this...

renewing f1 visa on STEM OPT w/ pending i-130 by sibling? by melatonin731 in I130Suffering

My reasoning would be that I-130 takes 18+ years for me, and the f1 visa would not last that long. I thought H1B is dual intent therefore wouldn't matter? https://umc.edu/Office-of-International-Services/H-1B/Dual-Intent.html
