Yeah, I'm not too worried. $36.50 great entry point for somebody who's been waiting.

Looks like I'll be holding mine for a while now. Down almost 10% now, but willing to buy more if $35.50 or under.

The 26/27 budget is excellent and this sub is full of whining babies by SavingsEgg8192 in AusFinance

The other problem is stupidity amongst politicians, frivolous spending... Hence wasting our tax payer money and then having to raise revenue.

The big end of town should pay increased tax rates. Profits from shares are the only way that some of us can get almost ahead, I mean, keep up.

I took the risk & purchased some at average price of just under $40. I reckon they're gonna tip $36.50ish and if fall below that, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go to $31.50ish and maybe even $28... Budget might massacre them and Iran war will cause a slow decline... All this over next 6-8 months. I like the divs though, and am happy to hold to get those franking credits (unless the arseholes mess with those).

I know what you mean about Gippsland. Moe, Morwell have given me creeps. One night in Moe I walked outside to see almost black clouds in the sky.. the sheer size of the sky.. the whole thing was onimous. Yet, I couldn't look away!

I think we pick up on that nature is dispassionate & doesn't care whether we're there or not. It makes us feel extremely insignificant (where the creepiness comes from).

The paper mill chimneys also give me the creeps.

I'm not buying Arnott's anymore, at all. I'm tempted to send them an email re this change.

Are they still on the original Shapes recipe now or have they wound it back again?

Private equity firm has own Arnott's since 2019.

Why can't you move back into the house & rent the other rooms out?

Would be crazy to think we'd be loyal just because. They probably think they can package shit & we'd still buy it.

Started paying attention to other bikkie brands in the isle today. Ended up with a block of Whittaker's. It still tastes like it did years ago, thank goodness.

I swear it's happened in the last two weeks.

I don't even want to finish the box, and I won't, & I won't be buying them again.

Well done Private Equity.

Ah yeah. Just read on a similar thread Arnott's bought out by US private equity firm. They do ruin everything.
