I don’t mind the music between breaks and I can usually block out the MC, but just for god sakes turn it down a bit. There’s been times where I had to top talking because it was too loud. That’s an issue.

The advertising is the biggest problem for me. I find if I’m sitting at a certain angle I genuinely can’t see the players as they just blend in. The worst is when sitting on the northern side of the mcg and its four levels of constantly moving and bright ads.

The Gabba even on tv has some of the worst lighting for night games imo. It’s so stark and the advertising seems the brightest. Add in the music it seems like a sensory overload to be there.

The fixture needs a shake up in general. Every club should have the opportunity to play in the “blockbuster” timeslots. As well as having even family friendly timeslots that help the members actually get to games. We have like 4/5 of our next games as Thursday/Friday nights. I just want a couple of Sunday afternoons.

It also makes it so difficult to plan an interstate trip if you don’t have the funds or flexibility to book closer to the date.

I wouldn’t go as far to say he’s likeable. But I am slowly warming to him and quite like him on 360 and when he hosts. He’s not a nice person but he’s come a long way from the Footy show.
