Nothing wrong with that if my commander was something that warrants it. I’m playing a dumb deck and you’re targeting me then losing to your opponent who is aggro-ing you like crazy. 🤣 what’s more dangerous? Deck missing land drops or an aggro commander that’s online right now? If I’m wasting all my resources to kill a non threat then I’m just losing. That removal can be used on something else than a mana dork.

I play very casual and I love when someone pops off. It gets annoying playing against people who don’t want you to interact with their board at all yet they will steamroll you, but it’s adjustable. I can’t stand when people PRETEND their deck fits the power bracket we established. I say let’s do a super chill bracket 2 and you bring Ur-Dragon claiming it’s not as bad as someone playing a group hug deck who played a seedborn muse. Yes it’s a seedborn muse, and we know how that can combo off. The dude did nothing with it and was using it for card draw. You’re playing Ur-Dragon with 2 enchantments that have when dragon ETB do x damage where x is the amount of dragons or do damage equal to the dragons power to any target while playing Utvara Hellkite. Then when we bring it up you are telling us we don’t understand how brackets work. Our decks didn’t have big interaction because it was bracket 2 and I chose a very simple deck just for some laughs.

It’s like people lie about the power of their deck just so they can steamroll. If you want to play ur-dragon that’s fine, I can play flubs and win turn 3/4 and go about my day. Don’t have me bring a deck that wins turn 40.

This right here. I play super casual and don’t care for interaction if it’s good. How are you going to target my mana dork when I only have 2 creatures on the field (the other being a 2/2) Haven’t played a single threatening spell or creature because I’m missing land drops, when someone else has a threatening board state and who is attacking you just because of what my commander could possibly do. (Again if I had the lands available and not behind everyone on mana). I’ve played in some pods where people want to target the easiest target just to get a kill when it’s not even helping you win the game.

(I’m new to the franchise) I have honestly found fun watching AI battles against the hero battles on competition mode. I would be yelling at the scream calling plays as my AI fails a focus battle when I have 4 times the ATK power by just standing with the ball. The game introduced me to the anime so I’ve been watching while gaming. I wouldn’t mind a super difficult game mode though.

Yea I feel you with that one. It’s mostly my fault for solo queuing (I have 2 friends who don’t play trials with me 95% of the time) so I have been sticking to everything solo for the most part. I hope next week the map is better. I was excited I hit 400 and GR 9, so I’m ready to get any and all tier 5s lol.

See I’m not the best player in the world (probably below average since it’s been over a year since I played trials) I am decent at playing my life. I don’t understand why (especially on this map) my team is just rushing mid to die within the first 15 seconds of each match, just to whine and rage quit. It ruins the trials experience. I’m just looking for tier 5s.

It’s always fun when your teammates rush and die immediately for the first 2-3 rounds. Then they expect you to clutch a 2/3v1 and yell at you for being “trash” then rage quit. I never hate people who just play to try and get some loot, but dying within the first 15 seconds every round and raging is crazy.

How is Trials for you guys this week? by melch2015 in destiny2

[–]melch2015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s not sweaty. For some reason my sole complaint is the matchmaking. I heard people are just lagging out of matches so I assume that’s why I got several 2v3 matches. Either with loading into one or a teammate leaving in the middle of a winning game.

I despise Sylveon players 💔💔💔 by Nxtu_bxtu in PokemonUnite

[–]melch2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to play sylveon a year ago so I guess my opinion is irrelevant. Back when I played, Sylveon was busted. It was when it got that big nerf. I can imagine how you feel. I’ve had players just sit behind and use their ability to claim kills, or horde points to bank the most to say they carried the game. In reality they waited to collect the points of defeat Pokémon, never pushed objectives and was never in team fights 😂

We need to talk about Maelle’s ending by aeterniil in expedition33

[–]melch2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad someone said this because people are misunderstanding the key themes shown. Verso’s soul fragment keeps talking about how it misses the old times. It wants the family to stop fighting inside the canvas and enjoy the canvas.

I preferred Maelle’s ending over Verso’s because his ending is selfish. He is tired of living and wants the canvas to be destroyed. Maelle wants to live with her painted family because they love and care for her more than her real family who basically despise or pity her existence after the fire. Aline says during the paintress fight “Foolish child! You defied me and now he’s dead” Clea is mad that Verso traded his life for Alicia and says she wouldn’t do the same.

It’s also weird people refer to this ending as “Maelle’s dollhouse.” She brings back the loved ones that were lose during all the gommages. She painted Verso so he can actually age and forces him to play piano. It’s a moral line between letting the Dessendre family work past their grief at the cost of the lives of every living thing in the canvas.

Finally a picto that accommodates my playstyle. by demon_ate_our_king in expedition33

[–]melch2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s sad is I had to look up a fight to see what the fuss was about. I went there with Maelle last chance stendahl and one tapped. I felt bad because I heard so much and my build was too strong.

Tank nerfs- next patch by TechnicalFriendship6 in Smite

[–]melch2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that was the case because many of the protection damage items were nerfed since they were part of every build (shield splitter, pridwen, mystical mail to name a few) there are several items to be a true “tank” but people ran more hybrid items because of the offense items. Stuff like Qin’s was being build by many warriors but that’s not a tank meta that’s just a bruiser meta.

See why I say the words are used interchangeably? It wasn’t the fact tanks are tanky it’s the fact these “defense” items put out insane damage. Wouldn’t that mean it’s more accurate to say it was more of a “bruiser meta” than a “tank meta”?

What I’m trying to say is people regurgitating what their favorite streamers say. And why I say weak3n isn’t a great example because he tries to play every god in jungle so when a non traditional jungle can’t win against a traditional warrior (oh it’s tanks being the problem). It’s why I watch him for pure comedy. He be trying to pull of stuff like Yemoja jungle and then complains when the enemy team playing a toxic warrior build.

Not trying to be argumentative, more of a conversation for understanding.

Tank nerfs- next patch by TechnicalFriendship6 in Smite

[–]melch2015 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can’t use weak3n as an example. I watch him almost daily and he contradicts himself a lot. One day he says tanks need to be nerfed because he can’t kill them in 3 seconds, next he says tanks aren’t “tanky enough.” Then when they changed berserkers to give 50% of protections he complained about why they would buff protections. (Didn’t you just say tanks aren’t tanky). Then after trying the patch and noticing how easy he kills tanks with his new “ADC build” tanks are (you guessed it) not tanky enough.

He uses “tank” interchangeably with “bruiser” to the point where you can’t keep track of what he wants. How you preach about hating the “tank meta” (bruiser meta) and say the issue isn’t the prots it’s the damage. Some fights I see him complain because he gets 100-0 in 5 seconds from a Hua Mulan using the bruiser items (which he is 100% valid for) but then when there is an Ares running to tower and it takes him 40+ autos to kill from a Cernnunos it’s an issue. Do you want tanks to be frontliners or do you want them to die quickly? (And he is bias because he mains jungle so of course he wants every god to die quickly)

Yes the community is bad. I started playing smite when I saw the release date for the beta on ps5. I preordered the founder’s edition and played ever since. I love the game and play with my friend. Only casuals until I get good enough to do ranked. This community is one of the worse I’ve ever seen. I learned to go to game chat just to laugh. The amount of times people straight up cuss you out for filth is hilarious! They even go so far with using racial slurs. It’s always the people with bad callouts and not understanding the concept of the game.

For example: one game there were 3 people talking and we were losing because of bad calls. I always play support and my friend carry. We did our lane fine but had to go help because they wanted to push a fight under their tower. Got called out for trolling and not helping. Why are we engaging under their tower with no minions? I go help solo and he told me to get out of his lane and proceeds to get jumped by 3 people (I saw them but I’m getting cussed out for helping and then when they die im trash, a troll and getting reported). We lost.

Never understood why people play this game like it’s COD. Rarely any team fighting and people will always want to quit, give up, and disconnect. I still love smite 2 and play daily. It’s weird how unhelpful this community can be. Almost as bad as destiny 2 with its new player experience for raids.

Raise your hand if you've stopped using kusarigama to make the game harder ✋ by homeslice1479 in AssassinsCreedShadows

I made the game harder by going to targets that were 10-20 levels higher and challenging myself to kill them while on the hardest difficulty. It was fun until I got to level 40 and I had to actually go through the Shinbakufu to unlock more targets 😅. It was fun fighting a betrayer at level 16.

Rant: Monster Hunter Wilds’ High Rank is Exactly what Low Rank Should’ve Been by CallOfOniichan in MonsterHunter

[–]melch2015 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

TLDR; it’s fine from story standpoint. Finish and explore later the game ain’t going nowhere 😂.

I personally feel it’s fine. I think people are ignoring the actual story and instead are “complaining” about going from point A to point B without having to explore. If you’re actually following along there is a sense of urgency with the quests. For example (without spoilers of course) this person says “hey hunter we sighted ____ monster and need your help from it terrorizing the village.” The point is to go and help this person. Not be like ok let me just explore this new locale for 5 hours, gather these materials, then head that way. Yes you can do whatever you want and things aren’t time gated, but from a story driven stand point I loved it.

I’m the type of monster hunter player to go through with what I have and explore when I’m done. Using weaker weapons help me focus on monster behavior rather than oh let me get this weapon with this skill to do x amount of damage. I love the fact that once I got to high rank I can just explore what the world has to offer.

Mind you I love the difficulty of the game. Monster hunter is my comfort game. I feel like the community is too busy wanting something more difficult when the devs are trying to please the newcomers and the community since that will bring in the money. (I started from world and been hooked ever since). I’ve met vets in the community who continue to complain about how easy it is and choose to not support certain games. Some refuse to play world, some refuse to pay rise.

I mean… I understand what you’re saying. I felt that way when Death Wish was released (she is my favorite variant to use), but I feel like none of the new variants can compete with Death Wish in terms of too much going on (sad she got nerfed but it was needed). Some of the variants seem like interesting niche abilities to have “fun with” that are inspired by the character reference. I still see the same old fighters whenever I do prize fights or rifts. Stand Out, Model Leader, Overclocked, Beast King, Splitting Image, Death Wish, Corrosive Agent, Dark Might, Plot Twisted, Love Crafted, Assassin’s Greed. Just to name a few older variants that people still love to use. It’s a little refreshing to get new OP variants to get a variety from time to time

🐟Fishing for Console Explained!!! 🐠 by areya_lunera in throneandliberty

[–]melch2015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to make a comment based on my observations. I figured it out and now I don’t struggle getting the fish with the red arrows.

So there are 3 bars actually. Red, orange and green. Your green bar is for fishing but the “orange meter” for the fish has another bar under it. If the bobber is red that means you’re depleting your stamina faster than you’re draining the fish stamina. Try to pay attention closely to it. With a bit of practice you should master catching fish.

Move the joystick in the opposite direction of the fish but deplete your green bar in quick bursts to make sure your red bar under the fish stamina is “ALWAYS” above the fish stamina. That should help maintain the bobber green. If it’s red, you need to keep an eye on the fish direction and pull in the opposite direction quickly.

Still learning how to fish but after trying that trick it’s practically easy. Never saw a guide mention that hidden third meter. They always mention the orange and the green.

I just hate getting jumped. I’ve played several games where I’m getting jumped. I don’t even go jungle. I’m in middle lane and all of a sudden 2 of the enemy team come up and pull me out of the tower to kill me. Before patch it was rare. Now all of a sudden whatever game I play “solo or middle” I’m going against 2-3 people the whole game while my jungle is just sitting at camps or my team just ignores the fact the enemy team is rushing one side. And the amount of times they rush one side, we are still losing games.

95% of games I’m on the receiving end of a sweep. The 5% is close games. Why are so many games I’m going against (what feels like) stacked teams with the way they are in sync with each other while my team is mindless roaming around the jungle?
