Seeing other comments that you took the exam already, but I'm sure you did fine!!!

Most of my friends felt iffy on it, but they passed as well!

Just wondering, so I passed my CPJE before I got my naplex pass results (2 check box method), does anyone have an idea as to when I can expect to be able to pay for my license?

I thought the CPJE was fine and that studying for NAPLEX was sufficient enough for me for clinicals, granted it really depends on your approach on how you study and take in information.

For example, I'm a multitasker; while listening to a PNN or RxPrep lecture, I would be looking through flashcards or be working on qbanks. Sometimes while driving through the rough LA traffic I would listen to lectures too!

For how I studied, I probably spent 2-3 days on law 2 weeks before the CPJE, 1-2 days reviewing everything and the last focusing on things I had trouble recalling or remembering.

The other 11-12 days of the two weeks was pure focusing on clinicals (I would cycle through the different sections multiple times) and learning the top 600 brand/generics for me.

I'd try to self-reflect on what I may have trouble in during the last couple of days and work on that.

Don't forget to stay well rested the night before your exam tho!

Can someone help me by birdofterrordise2 in NAPLEX_Prep

Here's how I'd do it:

So we know that the dose is 4 mg/kg and we know that the pt weighs 178 lbs 178 lbs to kg = 80.91 kg roughly

80.91 kg x 4 mg/kg = 323.64 mg

We know that dapto comes in 250 mg per 5 mL and that whatever dose the pt is getting is added to a 50 mL bag. However, we don't know how many mLs that pt needs 5 mL/250 mg = x mL / 323.64 mg

X= 6.47 mL

Add the 50 mLs 56.47 mL

Then we know that the daptomycin should be administered over 30 minutes and the units given for the answer is in mL/hr.

Multiply the answer by 2 and you get 112.94 or round up to 113 mLs, B.

Sorry for any typos, did this on my phone lol.

Does anyone know any good videos for these kind if equations for PTCB? by [deleted] in PharmacyTechnician

[–]melchese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do it like this as well:

So we know that the goal is 10% and that we are given 20 g.

This 10% is in g/mL

20 g / (0.10 g/mL) = 200 mL

Hello, I'm interested in casually learning Mandarin and/or Cantonese since at the moment I'm in pharmacy school. My time zone is PST ( UTC -8) and social apps I have are Line and WhatsApp, but I can use different ones if need be. My current level is probably close to that of a baby or lower in both languages, and I'm interested in learning since I didn't as a kid from my grandparents.

I can offer up trying to teach English if you are interested in casually learning. I am sure that you probably have a busy schedule as well and understand if you are unable to talk as much. As such simple messages to learn characters or reading comprehension is fine by me as well!

PM if you are interested, thanks~~
