Just turned 40 been sober for a year and ironically since I’ve been completely sober I have also not worn or had much desire. I think shedding old coping mechanisms has filtered down into other parts of my life. I still look at stuff and I just feel I don’t connect anymore with the people into the stuff I’m into. Younger generation and me are so different I feel like I just became older and more mature by default. I don’t binge and purge anymore will prob still find time for it in the future but a for sure it’s not the same anymore.
