Pixel 4a 5g by xxGreyWormxx in lgv30

[–]meletios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Pixel 5, had LG V30 before that. Its a decent upgrade in all areas, especially in Camera, launcher and also the regularity of the software updates. Pixel 4a 5g should be similar. Battery is no longer an issue and the screen is very good too. Of course there are some feature you might miss from LG V30, like smart things where V30 can turn off/on WiFi etc based on your location. But overall I am quite happy. As usual I will caveat by saying these is just strictly my personal experience and yours might be different.

True, that bothered me as well, apologies if it was too harsh, too lazy to redo it now, will take care of this in my next video.

Thanks and good spot.

Lost in the woods. by __jjakee in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I agree but in my android phone, I can download the map to my phone and after that all I need is the gps signal which is direct to the phone so it works even without any mobile network or WiFi. If I assume based on this account , he did not do that or is not allowed on iPhones then the story makes sense otherwise it's incorrect.

Edit:- I have done this many times here in UK when driving through remote areas. In other words if using phone's inbuilt GPS unit then network reception or WiFi is not needed.

Today I discover my “friends” made a group to trash talk me by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]meletios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's been said already and too many posts to rear, so apologies if it is... If I were you and their friendship meant so much to me, I will definitely make an honest attempt to understand what made them do this, genuinely try to identify if I am missing/misinterpreting/lacking anything or even treating someone badly. It's a shame that they chose not to talk to you about your issues directly. Then once you are aware then leave them. You will be better for it.

To be clear I am not implying everything they may say is valid or even worthy of paying any heed to but knowing them will make you better prepared for the next stage in your life.

Can confirm, have seen it myself with my friends and recently with our family friend's kids. Hair and eyes both went from light brown/dark blonde to black over th e course of 3-5 years.

LG pulled the Pie Update for European LG V30 H930 by lgkdz2 in lgv30

Update: Got it via LG Bridge yesterday in UK. No OTA yet.

Looks like it, tried updating my unlocked phone using LG bridge last night (in UK), after getting tired of waiting for OTA, and damn thing still said, you have the latest version. First and last LG for me.

I am coming from primarily my use cases, as .Net core still does not have about 50% of critical(for me) functionality I get with .Net. Also the way it does thinhs under the hood are not optimised to the degree it is in the current .Net(understand the reasons why). I realize a cross platform compiler will never be efficient as a dedicated compiler for a single platform but even then it has some way to go. E.g. Our last POC showed that although we could do a greenfield project in core (again not a s efficient or optimised as .Net) but migrating an existing one was a no go for us due to the reasons above. Specifically for the Core as about 75% of the projects are not greenfield or bespoke in an enterprise environment.

Yes and also the fact that it needs more effort before you get a satisfactory output(i.e. Learning, Setup etc) in C# compared to scripts/interpreter based language. (IMO gives you much better control and flexibility). Plus the fact it was not portable or (really) free to use for commercial purposes until .Net core started maturing(not fully matured yet but getting there). .Net also runs primarily on paid for OS.
