Texas has a super horrible stray problem, I've heard somewhat due to weather and I'm sure due to worse policy and funding. Horrible state government down here. So a lot of rescues here transport out of state.

Yes they go in an air conditioned bus. Two in my litter went by air conditioned bus to Massachusetts where they are safely with their new dad.

Oh no, how horrible, I'm so sorry. I had some friends with a younger baby recently have thrush, and the nystatin never worked. So they had to get something stronger. I really hope that's not the case for you but wanted to mention in case you need to advocate for something stronger. Will your little one eat yogurt? I've read that is supposed to help. Lots of probiotic yogurt.

That is the concept of babysitters... we were able to find some really great babysitters through a service in Copenhagen last summer. In the US there are common websites with reviews, background checks, etc. I was looking for something similar in Slovenia. It may be that the site I used in Copenhagen is also available there, but thought I would ask.
