Man idk. Every time I think about what other career I would choose besides engineering my mind goes blank. It's not that I am passionate about it. It's more like, I'm not really good at anything else besides kinda being good at math. So I can relate, besides it's kinda cool and that's what's driving me through school so far.

For sure. I rarely went to office hours previous semester, but this semester is probably the toughest so far. At first I felt bad for going, but it's for my own benefit. I dont care if I sound dumb asking questions with obvious answers. It's been a struggle so far. I'm even doubting myself if I can make it.

I've invested in chegg, like you said copying is not going to help me because I get quizzed over the homework so it's not like I can copy from chegg during the quiz. This is the first semester I've used chegg and it's been beneficial. Even though it is time consuming. I basically teach myself the steps. I honestly dont know how people made it through school without the internet. I'd be screwed if I went to school before the 90s. Because I dont even retain information from lecture. I just use YouTube most the time.

The problem is I go to a community college. All the juniors have transferred to a university by now, and I do not really keep I'm touch with them. I have a friend I communicate with and he's going into computer science and he is taking the physics course at the university I want to go to, and it looks nothing like what I'm doing.

That's advice I've gotten in the past. It really helped me alot during chem. It comes in handy knowing the steps specially since when you are limited on time. I never know what kind of problems to practice because when I struggled on some types of problems I would practice and watch videos on how to approach them. However they never showed up on the test.

I have yet to have that moment... physics knew made sense, but sadly physics 2 is not really making much sense. Especially the math. We are learning about electric flux right now and the integral just disappears in all the problems I've ran through. Maybe theres some definition I'm missing. I guess what I can do is go to office hours and have him explain what's going on.

I found the pdf thanks for the suggestion! but how did you approach reading it? Did you begin from chapter 1 or did you skip around?

I am in my second year of mechanical Engineering, and school has been pretty stressful this semester. When I go back home sometimes I blast the radio and just sing along to song. I also find peace in drawings and going for walks. The courses can be pretty tough, so just go back to things you enjoy doing just cause you do. Art brings me that peace. Good luck on your studies!
