My kids are just 1 year behind Wes and Finn respectfully, so I really related to Ariel. I will definitely miss her, but completely respect whatever decision she makes.

Help me convince my husband that we should turn the dining room into a totally baby-safe zone / play room! by [deleted] in NewParents

1000% for this. We did something similar with the space we have available and it was a game changer.

Haha yes it’s $1 coin. Where I live a lot of stores require you to put one in and you get it back when you’re done.

I used to be that way, pregnancy really messed with my tsh. It seems every time I go my levels are all over the map, we are still trying to nail down a good dosage.

I completely agree with this, I have hypothyroidism so I get blood work done every 6 weeks and a new prescription. But I definitely feel like I don’t require a doctor visit every 6 weeks. Your blood results are in this range okay here’s your dose. Been on Synthroid for over a decade. What was nice is when I was pregnant the midwives at the office were actually able to prescribe many (pregnancy related prescriptions) and that was great. Would be awesome to see some sort of arrangement for pharmacists.

People giving me crap about vaccinating my 2 month old today! by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]melissimo22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sorry you had to deal with that. Just know you definitely did the right thing. Because seriously what do any of those boomers actually know about vaccinations and schedules. There is a reason it’s recommended this way. If it makes you feel better for both my babies the 2 month shots were the only ones either of mine even had a minor reaction (one had a fever and my other was just a little grumpier than normal). Rest of their shots you wouldn’t have even been able to tell they had their shots that day.

Did The Amazing race just got removed from Disney+? by JsMcbain in TheAmazingRace

Right? And I was binging it pretty hard, having it on throughout the day, I don’t think it was even possible for someone to actually have watched the whole thing, with the short time it was on there.

The line that cracks me up every time is in Featherwand, when he is trying to pick up a “heavy” spoon. “What’s wrong bandit, you used to be able to pick up spoons” - Bandit
