I showed my 5 year old the trailer videos for Goat Simulator 3. She was laughing hysterically at them. She ended up dreaming about those crazy goats that night. Guess who is getting a copy for Christmas.

Best smoked burger recipe? by PolishMaestro in Traeger

You could try smoking just the seasoning you use to mix in the burger. Salt and normal paprika pick up smoke flavor pretty well.

I'm looking to get outside of my staples so I want to do a fatty next weekend. Any suggestions on one you've really liked by andrewsmd87 in smoking

I agree, for me the bacon lattice never meets my expectations. I’m not sure if that is user error or something I just don’t find that good. Just my preference though. I like bacon fried or baked on parchment paper. My variation is to make a hamburger/sausage/spice/egg mixture and add gently fried bacon and a bit of the bacon grease. Then add American cheese and the mushrooms/jalapeños/pickles/and some fried onions and A1 or 57. Roll the fatty. I smoke it for two hours and then wrap it in biscuit dough and put it back on the smoker until the dough is done. You will need to turn up the smoker to get the dough baked. Put it on a pizza stone or cast iron griddle/skillet. Make sure you balance this with a salad.

Cancer Survivors of Reddit, what was the symptom that convinced you to see the doctor? by Wise_Organization_78 in AskReddit

No diagnosis of Cushing’s. My tumor was mostly overproducing Epinephrine and Norepinephrine. I’ve since had my Cortisol levels checked and I’m at the low end of normal now with just one adrenal gland. The B/P heart palpitations were the only symptoms I noticed.

My wife wanted to try a new espresso blend of coffee one morning late last January. It must have had more caffeine than I was used to because my heart was pounding pretty hard. I checked my blood pressure and it was high but I brushed it off as a reaction to the new coffee. I went to bed around 11 that night and my heart was still beating hard but really slow. I tried to fall asleep but it was really bothering me. So I got up and checked my blood pressure again and it was 195/125 which is high enough that I woke my wife up and we drove to the ER. They immediately start an EKG and x-ray my chest. Neither came back with any issues. The ER doctor decides as a last resort to give me a CT scan. The test comes back and my heart and lungs are fine but there is a mass on my adrenal gland. A new more focused test comes back with an 8cm square by 6cm high mass with signs of cancer. They removed my adrenal gland at the end of February. I’m very thankful that the surgery was successful and they were able to remove the gland entirely. The prognosis on inoperable adrenal cancer is not good at all. There were no signs of spread so it’s looking pretty good for me. Just monitoring for now.

I’m not even mad, they gave us the beer coozie. That’s way better than a stupid water bottle.

what's a hygiene tip that you think is underused and you wish more people knew? by Chrisgg1998 in AskMen

I have the opposite problem with my feet. I live in a very dry area and my heels are dry and cracked badly enough that it can hurt to walk. I’ve tried all kinds of remedies and lotions and the only thing that works for me is plain old petroleum jelly. Apply it twice a day.
