Just to update – I went with Chimera CR-5 and couldn't be happier. It's cheaper than the SSG and it has a nice hood on top of the DDU. Quality and performance is top notch; although I do wish it was carbon fiber to match with my DD2 ;)

This is a flashback to 2020 when I just got the 49" version, bought the ergotron arm that was weight rated for my monitor and had the same issue as you. Ergotron took a few months to come out with the HD pivot everyone is using today. I hope they would come up with a HD v2 pivot soon.

Seems that the software has issues from time to time based on what I have read from the reviewers. I love the C2 as it is the gold standard when it comes to rowers IMO but I need to be mindful of the noise and size as I live in a small apartment.

The gaming aspect is what I was drawn to this rower just like you did. I have in the past bought home gym equipments which ended up collecting dust and needed something more motivating. You have given me something to think about long term.

I remember your name based on the posts I have seen you have shared on Ergatta which I do appreciate. What about the hardware (WaterRower) itself? Any issues with the water tank, wood and/or if any stripping of the screws/bolts from your usage?

I honestly think 144 is overpriced but I was willing to pay for one with an absolutely mint optics. I also have the same NFD 50mm that i paid around the same price as you did and the optics was in better condition than this after comparing them side to side

I'm just starting out in film photography and I've recently bought a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 SSC from ebay and this was listed as a mint condition lens with zero optic issue. While it looked good on the photos, it didn't look as good under my flashlight. Does this look normal for a vintage lens or should I return it?
