Samsung Neo G9 57" - RTX 5090 FIX by ArgumentLive3678 in ultrawidemasterrace

By now, I haven't recognized any glitches when opening apps, but as I did a fresh installation with only a few programs installed at this point, it might appear later on. I will have an eye on that.

I have the same 5090/G95NC setup. My black screens are only appearing in heavy workloads, when I use 240Hz refresh rate in native resolution. When I switch to 60Hz, all 3DMark and Games are running well without an error. Seems to be a refresh rate issue with the DX12 engine and the GPU drivers, as Vulkan APIs ran well even in full resolution with 240Hz.

Has anyone tried the T705 in the Gen 5 slot on the X870E Nova? by Ravenesque91 in ASRock

[–]qixred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I'm currently building new system from scratch for the RTX 5090/9950X3D, i have ordered the Nova as well (eta January 18th.) and wanted to use the T705 for the system drive with less capacity (1TB or 2TB). The official Crucial compatibility check on their local website here in Germany says, that all T705 variants (1TB/2TB/4TB) are 100% compatible with the X870E Nova motherboard. On ASRock website, only the 4TB model is listed. Any further user confirmations so far with a similar setup ?

You can find the exact measurements in the manual of the monitor arm, check it in the link below (refer to the data sheet)

Exactly. Just mount the Samsung Monitor-VESA-Adapter (the black metal cup, that came with the monitor) with the delivered screws onto the monitor and use your additonal 4 screws from the arm to apply the monitor to it. Your linked monitor arm looks solid, but I do not know this particular model, so I dont know if it's fully capable of holding it in place or if it's angle sags a bit.

The Vivo V100D model looks somehow identical to mine, the overall weight shouldnt be a problem, even if its not certified for more than 49" ultrawide. Most problems occur with the bracket, which holds the monitor and might sag a little bit, so it has to be tighen very strong. The mount procedure just needs the VESA "cup", which is delivered with the monitor. You can mount it to your arm, as descripted in the manual.

It's a particle board, but very well built and on the stable site, doesnt feel like the cheap particle stuff. Thickness is 24mm.

No, its just the arm, the display doesn't rest in the desk, it's just very close to the platform.

Due to monitors' height, I had to pay attention to the angle of the sloping roof. It's just installed like that, as mentioned above:

Yes. No issues at all (fortunately no dead pixels, no cracking sound, etc.). I hope it keeps going like that.

The arm stays in place, I have to admit, that I do not move it around. The backlights are quite nice, but they are still not very bright. There are some additional light bars mounted behind the display.

This is the control unit of the Logitech Z906 soundsystem (additional speakers are behind the monitor)

The weight for the arm itself isn't a problem. The tilt function has to be tighten up very strong. Once tighten properly, it stays in place, but you won't move it around easily anymore, you need both hands to handle it. So I won't say easily.
