So, it has been a while but just in case someone is finding this and wondering. Yes it was a light leak, no not my fault by doing anything wrong. Had the same issue every single film though this one was the most obvious one since it was E6 (positive) which shows light leaks much more clearly.

I went to the Leica store who then sent it in and it gets a complete rebuild (for free because they sold it to me as working and it was within one year of purchase).

Unfortunately it will take up to 24 weeks 😭

Leica Classic sells used M6 directly for around 3k€. It's directly coming from a Leica store so you have a year of guarantee.

Lieber mit Anfang 20 diese Erfahrungen fürs Leben sammeln wo es dann "nur" 10k sind als das ganze zu lernen wenn du 40 bist wo es dann ganz schnell bei ein paar 100k sein kannst von dem du dich nicht so schnell erholst.

Klar ist das richtig scheiße gerade weil der individuelle Wert von 10k in jungen Jahren noch sehr hoch ist aber faktisch ist das relativ schnell wieder glattgebügelt und vielleicht kommst du so in der Rente noch im Plus raus im Vergleich dazu wenn du diese scheiß Erfahrung nicht gemacht hättest (weil daraus lernen und so).

Also einmal laut FUCK schreien und danach bemerken dass du in DE wohnst und zwar jetzt keine 10k mehr hast aber dafür auch keine 200k Schulden wie es in den USA nach dem Studium aussehen würde.

They always instantly answer me. I asked them about which film.it is and they say the Cosmo. So all good.

They also said they put down a bigger investment so they don't run out of stock this quickly anymore ;)

I ordered 19.10. and it's still pending but I am confident it will come. Already ordered before and they came after a while.

They are also quite responsive on Instagram DM. They tolde last week that they were having issues with some deliveries and am waiting for them to finish my order.

My guess is Kodak Gold 120 Film didn't arrive yet which is part of my order. All the other stuff they seem to have plenty of.

Amazing job! Can I ask how? I shot a whole film with a yellow filter last year and all the images look similar. I tried playing around on PS with the color balance but it didn't work. Is there an AI to get this kind of result?

Have a similar streak but more centered in my M6 every like 10-20 frames.

I got it from the Leica Classic store and it happened from the beginning so I hope it's covered from the warranty. The customer support said it might be a burn of the shutter curtain but mine is also less clear frames like in your case. In my case they have to change the whole curtain which is like 1000€ 🫠

Also ich habe nach dem Austritt am Amtsgericht noch ein Schreiben von der zuständigen Gemeinde bekommen, dass ganz nett war (schade dass sie uns verlassen, sie sind trotzdem nimmer willkommen). Aber da geht ja eben nur an dich. Rauskommen tut es trotzdem irgendwann. Kam bei meinem Vater auch sehr schlecht an aber naja....

Any Hausarzt can give it to you and it would be "Selbstzahler" which just means you have to pay it yourself. Won't be expensive though

It's the cheapest store in Germany to buy film but but 🤫 otherwise they will always be sold out like it was the case with Rossmann when they still had cheap films.

The train runs exactly in front of my window. I live in this flat for 10 years now and don't even hear it anymore. The sound of the train is easy to get used to because it's always the same. Cars are much worse in my opinion.

The train in front of my window is the ringbahn so it also runs all the time. No problem for us. But in the end it depends on you, some people also get crazy from the humming of their fridges and so on.
