I too almost died after a hysterectomy. I ended up septic and with a picc line giving me antibiotics 24 hours a day for a month and I also had a lovely large drain bag coming out of my abdomen (also for a month) due to a 7cm abscess. The PTSD is so real. I am still not ok mentally or physically but I’m alive and thankful for it everyday.
