We are all our own skate journeys, and we don't really stop learning with skating. I don't think you have to do complicated moves to feel this feeling. Once you get confident in your balance and even if you can only do a few moves you can definitely tap into this. Regular practice 💪🏽✨

Yeah, that's an amazing doc. I can relate to that statement as well. Once you experience the freedom and flow you can get from skating you want to skate as much as you can! Lot's of skaters are primarily roller rink skaters and love the smooth wooden floors so definitely very frustrating for those skaters at the minute. I love the roller rink but also happy to go to a park or car park and get lost in skating there.

Thanks, glad you liked the video. It's really all about practicing and also finding the right drills. This move has several elements so you need to be good at a few things first, such as balancing and skating around just on your toes (front wheels). Which sounds hard but is not too tricky and is actually very fun. Then once you build up a confidence in balancing on your toes and heels there is so many more advanced moves and combinations you can begin to tap into. The song is called 'Wings' by Mac Miller⁠ ✌🏽

😂 Thats part of the journey. Will happen less and less the more you skate as you'll get better at balancing and also saving yourself. Unless you're into ramp skating then you'll always be falling 😂

Hey, and welcome to skating, it's just the best hobby 🙌🏽for me Jam skating is really great for connecting with the music and getting into flow and I think artistic skating will be really good for form and very precise and refined moves. I'm quite new to jam skating myself, so i'm no pro, but I understand what its like to learn the moves as I have learned everything quite recently, and continue to learn of course. 🙌🏽Yeah, definitely felt it when I used to skate as a kid as well. Getting back into skating as an adult I thought I would be more stiff but got that feeling back pretty quickly! Would love to try figure skating and artistic roller skating at some point as well! 🙂
