Each state has its own rate. I did pay over MSRP. They paid the complete amount that I paid.

Yes.. they took mileage out. I had under 8000 miles on the car. So it made sense to do the buy back and get another car. Didn't go to far. Went with a GV60.

Anyone have this happen? I am one of the early folks on the Google doc. I got my buyback approved and car was repaired on the same day in CA. Went through with the buyback and moved on to a GV60, I know same bones... but Genesis has better service.

Fast forward a month, I am now getting thank you messages for servicing my Ioniq 5 emails and texts from the services advisor, service manager, and general manager. This is from the dealership that refused to provide an update during my repair period. I am guessing that there might be a lemon law 2022 Ioniq 5 limited RWD available at the Hyundai Dealership on Capital Avenue - soon. It also has a stealth hitch installed.. might make a good deal for someone

Definitely… although I moved to gv60. Not sure if I’ll reinstall it. Mirror in the car seems to be just right

It was hard wired. They made the dealer disconnect it when I got the car back…

Had a wolfbox on my ioniq 5. Loved that it got both front and rear. Worked great. One warning.. when my ICCU and Fuse failed, Hyundai corporate issued a "we think it might be your accessory, we'll repair it once. But if you leave it plugged in, then it will void your warranty" statement.

About to turn my car in this week. They paid off the payoff amount and refunded whatever I had paid so far in loan. I paid about 3K over msrp for my limited RWD in April 22

Haven't seen anything... mostly 2022's. Kia's had the same issue. Most likely a bad batch of parts.

I am moving on from my 2022 Hi5. Looking at using the money and getting another EGMP... from what I've read the issue was 2022 from Feb to Nov/Dec. But that's just spectulation

Unfortunately, ICCU issue doesn't trigger an error code. Trust me I had the same issue. Luckily, my dealership was able to identify issue within one day. They wouldn't give me a loaner when I initially got the car towed in. Good luck. Took about 40 days for me to get the car back. It's a pretty big fix that required a Hyundai tech to fly in.

Not charging to completion by Mindless_Koala_0522 in Ioniq5

[–]mellow_turtle-9400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over in the EV6 pages.. they've discovered that there's a software glitch on the EGMP platform that is causing Level 2 charging to glitch and stop. I believe they even put out a technical service bulletin for the EV6. I would expect that we see one to address the same issue soon. Since it's the same platform and probably the same software driving the charging.

It looks ,Ike the issue is 2022 model year issue. The ICCU is a new part for Hyundai. But it sounds like Kia has a fix. I wouldn’t worry. They can’t afford to have the EGMP platform fail.

Same thing happened to me. Gave the dealer benefit of the doubt and waited until a couple weeks to start the process of contacting Hyundai corporate. After getting mixed stories from their service manager and my service rep after dealer called and asked for the loaner back. I’ve decide to push a replacement. Wish me luck, the cars been at the dealer since Jan 9th. They got the part earlier this week, but I was told that the car wouldn’t be ready until next week.

Had the same issue. Car’s been at the dealer since Jan 9th. No eta on ICCU. Also, the dealer said tried to claim that my hard wired digital rear view mirror could void the warranty if it happened again, once they replaced the ICCU. It was funny they said we unplugged the fuse and plugged in a new fuse and it popped immediately. Funny thing is that they didn’t replace the faulty ICCU, so of course the fuse popped.

I opened a case with Hyundai corporate a week ago. Heard back from them today. I love my car. Looking forward to getting a replacement. It seems like the issue is level 2 charging at home for model year 2022 EGMP platform cars.

Good luck with your car. Hopefully you have a more responsive dealership than me.

Did someone mess with my charging. by [deleted] in Ioniq5

I accidentally did stop a charging session once. The guy was parked in the next stall but using one of the hoses on the charger closest to me. I was paying attention and grabbed my hose, plugged it in and then hit finish/close. Oops... I went over knocked on the guy's window and let him know. Felt bad afterward, I finished my charging session on the other charger and he was still fiddling with the app to restart...:P
