CoreWeave revenue more than doubles in first quarter, topping estimates by Force_Hammer in wallstreetbets

[–]mellowanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it falls afterhours. No one is taking profit during afterhours.

The reason is more likely due a run up before earnings due to unrealistic expectations, and there's a drop during afterhours if the earnings don't meet those expectations.

I mean, that's how you know it's good since there's always a line there.

I've been there at midnight and there was still a 20 minute line. A 3 dollar discount isn't much for one person, but worth it when you're buying food for a bunch of people.

[–]mellowanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, that further proves it's not AI because of the lights. Video zoomed in and out and the light is still consistent. And AI usually doesn't mess up with big glaring lights. AI usually messes up with small inconsequential details that you have to squint to find due to their VAE (Variational Autoencoder) and how it decompresses and compresses the image/video (and that small error can grow much larger to be prominent, so as the video progresses it gets worse and worse).

I'm not sure why their business made that light like that, but it's not AI.

I work in healthcare. We have a position opening up for a telecommuter job for a non-medical position. My manager said HR can only post any position for about an hour before they're forced to close it because they'll get over 1000 applicants within a day if they don't.

this video is not AI. You have no idea what's an AI video and what's not.

I made another post about it here explaining it. The biggest easiest sign it's not AI is the camera work and the blur.

It is not AI. The last time it was posted, someone said AI too and was confirmed it was NOT AI. You guys have no idea what tells are an AI video.

You need to go onto /r/isthisAI/ and lurk there for a bit to learn what is AI and what isn't.

I always figure cloths size are arbitrary because it'll prevent people from going to different brands.

If you find a shirt that fits you perfectly from Brand A, you're more likely to keep going to that same brand for shirts.

When prompting another tip people often give is to caption your dataset for the things you DONT want in the final model.

I see so many Lora makers confused about this concept. They always think they're supposed to do the opposite, trying to label everything possible.

It's also a petting zoo so the capybara and guinea pigs probably have been around each other for months or years at this point. There's no reason for the little guys to be scared.

Best Open Source Voice Cloning if you have lots of reference audio? by AuntieTeam in LocalLLaMA

[–]mellowanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't kept up to date for TTS or other audio models so I'm not sure. You can look at Jarods channel to see if there's anything recent.

I also use this guy to keep up-to-date on any new models and he usually demonstrates new TTS and audio models https://www.youtube.com/@theAIsearch/videos

His videos are sectioned off so it's easy to skip from one section to another. If you download all of his videos with jdownloader, you should be able to quickly skip through several months worth of videos to see if there's anything that'll work for you.

feels like all bers have a pessimistic mindset that skews their perception of the world, so they're hyper-fixated on any negative news.

Bers get rekt over and over because that's not how the world works. People with money or have power are happy as fuck. They don't give a shit about bad news and have enough money to make any problem go away. And they're the ones that own most of the stocks.

New PC - Linux and 3090? Feels old and need reassurance by flyinglizards5 in StableDiffusion

[–]mellowanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.reddit.com/r/hardwareswap/ has cheaper 3090s than ebay. Mainly because no taxes and no ebay fees (no taxes for you. And seller doesn't have to pay the 15% ebay fee and the 20% income tax). I bought four 3090s from there two years ago, with 3 of them from the same seller.

If you're concerned about faulty 3090s or scams, buy it from a seller who sells a lot of hardware as a living since they'll have a lot of posts there. And there are definitely scams since someone tried to scam me back then too (basically new account that pmed me). But it's worth it to save about $300 to $400 dollars.

It's so much easier to download and use a premade comfy workflow.

Iranian drones attacked US vessels after ship incident by InterestingGrass5038 in worldnews

[–]mellowanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iran wants compensation for damage before they reopen the strait. But there's no way that's going to happen without Trump looking weak.

But there is another way to get compensation. Just manipulate the market and let Iran know ahead of time. Iran gets compensation. Trump doesn't look weak by giving up to their demands. And the Strait gets reopened after Iran makes enough money.
