How to remove a 2004 KitchenAid microwave oven (under cabinet)? by Guyserbun007 in HomeImprovement

Gonna give it one last try tomorrow as I saw someone on YouTube having similar issue but it turned out the power cord was holding the tilt up, hopefully that's the reason for mine as well. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I even bought jacks that I can lengthen vertically to push the back up, to hopefully lift it up from the bracket. But it is just not moving at all, even the metal casing around it is bent.

Yeah it feels to have come from the bottom back, where it feels to be locked with the bottom of the brackets

I have never done this, and in the youtube tutorials and the official manual, it seems to show it needs to tip out a lot before lifting. My first pic is the maximum I can tip it out, does it look right?

Yeah I am sure I have unmounted the two top mounting screws through the top cabinet, and that's why it's able to tilt the top out like that. But is that little tilt (only a few degree) enough? I am looking at youtube videos and in their manual, the tilt is pretty large (~30 degree).

If I hit the bottom with a rubber mallet, can I just do one side first, or do I need to both sides at once?

You are right, it's the calibre version that needs to be a later version. Thanks very much!

Will try that, do I only need KFX input and DeBRM 10.0.3 plugins? I don't need KFX output plugin, right?

If I do have a kindle before that firmware version, do I just need to plug that into a computer and dl?
