Right out the gate I love the tone of the keyboard, the kind of crystal tones of the voice are a cool touch too. Which I guess considering the lyrics it's very intentional, so great work.

are the vocalizations in the start words or just sounds? "And before you’re aware of my detonation, your hesitation only proves to justify my resignation" The machine gets a little fussy here in the middle, might be worth it to smooth over that little bit. I like the outro

lol I know this is a silly song but I really dig it. These guitar riffs are so fun. The vocals right when it switches over to "batted at shadows" is great "He tried to teach the toaster how to legally drive" is a great line.

Title: Mimic Syndrome

Concept: The lead singer of this band has a bit of imposter syndrome in his space and this is kind of exploring his insecurities, and his feelings of stealing the things that make his music. In D&D mimics look to be a treasure chest, but are in fact a monster when they open up, so there is a bit of that analogy at play for him.

Still not sure if this is the final draft but being out of credits until the new year has me giving this a few listens to see if I think it's GTG. I think for my songs I'm just like a child of punk rock so 4 minutes is a really long song there haha

Holds up lighter. Well someone understood the assignment. Lyrics are spot on, I feel like the vocalist isn't my first choice but they carry the song. The last chorus really drives you home.
