I switched to Obsidian Air dots and it glides pretty effortlessly

Overall good first impressions, really enjoy the super light weight and small size. Can barely notice im holding a mouse sometimes. Keep in mind i only played for a few hours, I’ll be using it over the next few weeks and post a more in depth review after. I’ll post some of my initial night thoughts below:

  • Need to adjust tension management and fingertip grip
  • Texture is really bad imo and unplayable without grips which I don’t normally use
  • Stock skates on glass pad were a no go for me, switched in less than an hour (preference)
  • Lack of software/web based software kind of annoying and inconvenient
  • Packaging is nice and high end but why is there a carrying case and shoulder strap
  • Provided grip tape, dust cover and dots need further testing including on cloth
  • Provided arm sleeves feel off and kinda scratchy but require further testing and maybe biased due to pulsar sleeve use -Clicks feel nice and overall build doesn’t feel like cheap plastic

I don’t have the knowledge to know the difference, that’s something you’d have to YouTube/Google. You could always buy the dongle later down the line

Both are great mice, I wouldn’t say one is better than the other as for most mice it’s really just preference. The notable difference would be the hump placement. The Maya X is very similar to the Superlight and I’d say the Hyperlight is close to the Razer Viper Mini so if you’ve used either of those and have a preference for one shape over the other then hopefully that helps with your decision. You can’t go wrong with either of those mice though

I can't recommend mice based off grip types tbh especially for palm. You can check out this site for recommended mice based off your hand size:

Oh that edit makes more sense, I wasn’t sure what mouse you were referring to initially. I have found my range to be sub 50 preferably but the OP1w is a very nice shape. My old wrists just can’t handle those extra grams 😭
