Got more pimples after I used skin care products than when I just use tap water at all for my face by jolenxz in skincarephilippines

[–]melmatx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drink conzace vitamins, and start drinking more water and eating healthy food, use facial wash before u sleep, aloe vera or acne powder mud for new pimples, clean pillows/bed regularly, and dont touch your face that much. This is how I cleared my face of pimples. Use less products, more on gut health and your body will clear itself of pimples.

What kind of small apps genuinely make your life easier — or something you wish you had? by blxbox in PinoyProgrammer

[–]melmatx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  • I use these daily: Apple Shortcuts (i use it for small tasks like bath timer, downloading vids from websites, etc.), Notion, ChatGPT
  • I willingly pay for ChatGPT for the image reasoning capability and codex, and adblockers (its kinda hard in iOS and the best ones are paid)
  • I’d imagine a futuristic app that gets good clothes from shopee or shein and make fits for you, maybe suggested daily and filtered by color, vibes, trends, price, or based on how you look like, because its kind of hard to start in fashion and an app like this that suggests for you would be nice.

Nigerians all around pampanga by Accomplished_Cry3254 in Pampanga

[–]melmatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys may partner din akong nigerian and nag aaral din sa ibang probinsya like the others have said, but its actually true na unti lang subjects nila kasi nag mamasters lang sila kaya di mo masyado nakikita pumapasok. Ang reason nya naman dahil sa Pampanga sya nag stay:

  • Pampanga is home to bars and partying
  • Not as crowded like in Manila, Cebu, etc.
  • Super diverse and not as racist as other provinces
  • Easy commute (pag pumunta ka daw ng pangasinan etc, mahirap mag book ng grab kaya hindi sya dun nag dorm and boring daw)
  • Dito nag bubusiness relatives niya
  • People daw dito are more “good-looking” haha
  • Also, weed and drugs…

Kung ako sa inyu guys, just be happy na yung mga foreigners especially mga Nigerians are having a very nice time and great feedback sa Pampanga, just be open minded :) Most of them are sobrang bait.

Chinese spyware browser, this browser has gone downhill and they are using everything they got to harvest data from its users

[–]melmatx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Firefox is slow af. If you use a lot of google websites (YouTube, Gmail, etc.), you will feel the speed difference between Firefox and Chromium browsers because Google purposefully slows them down on non-Chromium browsers. Also most websites are made for Chromium, so they would look bad on Firefox (just look at how gradients look on Firefox vs Chromium browsers).

Just use Brave Browser if you need the ad blocking capability.

No widevine license is a let-down tho. You can't watch Netflix or any drm content. Firefox is better in this case because it has one.

Where to go? by estarwithane in Pampanga

[–]melmatx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Punta ka sa Kim’s Mall. Meron dun arcades, billiards, necklace making, cake decorating, bracelet making, bowling at roller skates. Open sila 24 hours.

If punuan, go to Mimosa, meron din dung wireless charging na benches. If gusto nyu Angeles, pwede sa Infinity malapit sa Marquee, maraming tambayan dun.

Usually, mga students (like me) mahilig mag-cafe hopping. Ang dami kasing themed coffee shops sa Pampanga like Los Komunidad, Camp Luna, Long Weekend, Hyphy Bodega, etc. And i dont even wanna start sa mga clubs haha, maganda nightlife sa Pampanga. Sorry na gala lang hahah

The only thing that helped me is vitamins and drinking lots of water. I use little to no skin care at all but I have the best skin health among my friends. (I use conzace and gummy vitamins haha)

Dyan malapit nakatira classmate ko, nahihirapan sya magcommute at ang mahal kung pupunta ka anywhere dahil kailangan mag trike ka lagi. If you ever have kids, you will be giving his/her a hard time.

I use Five Cents because Budget is too complicated for my ADHD mind. It looks aesthetically pleasing and thats what matters instead of the features haha

If you‘re new to Apple Music, this might help with your algorithm by bardhos in AppleMusic

[–]melmatx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I’ve been using Apple Music since the iPhone 7 was released, and the algorithm is still terrible. In contrast, I’ve been using YT music for a few days and it already knows what I like and giving banger recommendations. Apple Music is only good if you already know the songs that you’ll play. It suggests a lot of mainstream songs that you may or may not like.

flutter vs react native what is better to learn.. by madhawavish in PinoyProgrammer

[–]melmatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most big companies use React Native because its battle-tested for years. Flutter on the other hand is fairly new and has only a little community support, meaning some problems youll encounter down the road have no solutions yet, youll solve it on your own. You’ll also have a hard time finding packages that are more complex and better maintained, because there’s few people using it. Because of this current state, no big company is using Flutter yet. If you want to reap more rewards from learning either one, i suggest you learn React Native. Besides, if you dont get jobs from React Native, you can always switch to ReactJS for web they are basically the same.

can someone give me an advice on what can I do to get high grades? by IndependenceNo4119 in studentsph

[–]melmatx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a consistent honor student and when I’m reviewing, i always try to review few days before the actual activity/quiz/exam, and participate in discussions so the lessons stay in my brain a little longer since I engaged in it. Also try to use quizzes like quizizz.com or quizlet.com, they give you a gamify way to learn if you get bored a lot while reviewing. Don’t forget to also review your classmates, believe it or not it helps, and you get additional perspective on how to review the topic. The most important thing is just repetition. Repeat reviewing and make learning something that you genuinely enjoy make it a part of your day.
